Official Parks and Recreation Season 4 Thread vol. Vote Knope in 2012

Ron "I'll have a number 8."

Waiter  "That's a party platter, it serves 12 people."

Ron "I know what I'm about, son."

this show is so good.

i wish community was as consistent as this show is...

april/ann scenes are always great.

The April, Ann, Donna singing scene was my favorite part.. when Donna came in I lost it. I'm glad when April lets her guard down and is nice, especially to Ann.

The porn parody, Perd giving ET one and a half stars, Jason Schwartzman's guest appearance, all great.

Another very funny episode from the most consistent sitcom out there.

I had a chance to meet Offerman tomorrow at a press screening for Somebody Up There Likes Me tomorrow afternoon. I saw the film a few weeks ago and it sucked so I'll pass. But the idea of meeting him is almost enticing me to sit through that crap again.

New Parks next week starts 6 or 8 straight new episodes.

can someone post a gif of tom's " oh no no no list" and when he's talking about waking up in the morning to check " facebook, tumblr, pinterest ...and linkedIn, for the prefessional shorties"

This show is so consistent.

The animal control employees getting fired and showing up to the interview for the same job

Raffi as Dennis Feinstein

Ron getting sick and eating the banana @ the end

last night was one of the funniest episodes ever. I was laughing so hard at the ending with Ron trying to eat the banana. I watched the episode twice. Back-to-Back

Ann - "Sexual history?"
Ron - "...epic and private."

Jamm - "stop grilling him, he isn't a rack of ribs....nailed it." ......
Leslie - "ribs are better smoked, unnailed it...with the back end of the hammer"

Leslie - "are his gums great too"

Counselman Jamm - "retro jammed"

Ann - "do you have any history of mental illness in your family"
Ron - "I had an uncle who did Yoga"

Feinstein - "Eddie...get my crossbow"

Ron - "what's cholesterol?"

Ron - "no thank you...i live the way I live, I eat the way I eat and I'll die the way I'll die"

The parks and rec world is so rich. All the recurring background characters are so great

Jean Ralfio, Perd Hapley, Joan Calamezzo, the animal control guys, Councilman Jamm... these are all classic characters

Said it a thousand times, but it's as close to a live action Simpsons as we're ever going to get.

The entire town is a great character. They can pick and choose all these hilarious characters and it won't get old. Like the animal control guys... I was dying when the second one came in and despite being roommates, they didn't realize they were applying for their old jobs.

Even smaller recurring characters, like the doctor, are used perfectly. The doctor is curt and rude, but he's able to step in and delivers the laughs in a couple lines.

I'm actually getting tired of this show, I think. Ever since Leslie and Ben got together, I feel like the tone has been too positive, and there isn't any conflict that I actually care about. Not to mention this Anne/Chris storyline is both stupid and not funny.

After they let Leslie win and keep Ben, it was clear the show was going to give it's characters the happy Endings no matter what. There isn't as much at stake as before and while the overall narrative is weaker and less meaningful, that's ok.

I wish they could balance the positive with the negative more, but it's still very funny regardless.

someone please find me a gif image of the 2 animal control guys.....they had the funniest moments in parks and rec history...

that was a killer episode...

Parks has a few jokes with little writing on a piece of paper and they're all great.

Ron's "permit" to cook a pig in the park

Then his ad for an assistant was equally simple

And April handed Jerry a note that just said "You are going to fail"

For real, these dudes need their own show

and then later on they run into each other applying for the jobs they just got fired from

The scenes with the animal control guys and Ron's scenes answering the questions and eating that banana are some of the best stuff they've ever done, was in legit tears.
