Start in Safe Mode. Run your antivirus software and get rid of all viruses and disable any programs that you don't need running at start up. If you are still having problems then backup all your data and do a system restore or a clean install. Clean install is a last resort though.
Make sure you have all the proper drivers installed and everything. If that still doesn't work then try using EaseUS Partition Master. It works for this sort of thing but I try not to use third party software if its not necessary.

Ok. I had to dig deep for this one. You are going to have to reformat the hard drive. First, back up everything that is on the hard drive. Make sure that your SATA drivers and everything are updated.
Now, go back to Disk Management (after you have backed up all your data) and delete the entire volume on the 3TB hard drive. The whole disk needs to be unallocated space. Right click the disk and select the "Convert to GPT" option. Now you should be able to partition the disk and assign drive letters to your liking.

I've had Belkin router for 1 year now and I'm sick of it.. Connection drops etc.. POS.
Had previously D-Link modem for 4 years, running 24/7.. No problems..
