Something rubs me the wrong way about GMG, I heard they bill you through Russia or something? No idea but I just stay away

Could you guys tell me if this build is good? Trying to upgrade this Acer from best buy i bought last year. Going to be gaming for the first time on PC btw, also want to do a bit of OC'ng. Im thinking of removing the 16gb and just going for 8 as a lot of people say 16 is overkill.

motherboard looks like it could be problematic according to the reviews.
you probably wouldn't need more than 8gb of ram if you're just gaming and dont mind closing programs when you're finished with them.

might want to consider this combo that consist of the same cpu and a better reviewed motherboard.
not sure how long the deal will be available for however.

What's a good GPU for around 200-230?

gtx 660(prob shold wait for 760 for better performance/ 660 price to go down) or radeon 7950 should be pretty good.

I have just learned the ROG impact is delayed till the start of august.

Oh well I guess Toro Bravo 4s are in my future :{

Waiting for the Maximus VI Formula, myself. But won't be buying anything until October. Also will be purchasing a i5 4670K by then. Prices should drop by then, right? 8o

What are y'all buying? Only games that I know for sure I want are both Witchers. Anything else worthwhile?

With the new CIV 5 expansion out, I doubt there will be anything to make me jump.

Hotline Miami for $2.49 is a no brainer though. Pick that up if you haven't already.
