Only best part about this news.............GTX 1080 Tis price will drop dramatically this holiday, you can prolly switch out your 980 Ti for it at a cheaper price than before.

My son got some money for his birthday and wants to get a starter gaming PC.

Is this worth $300?

What games will he be playing? its a lower level pc, get a SSD to go with the HDD.

Just cause 3, Minecraft, Fortnite, overwatch and stuff like that

Is the message he just sent me. Doesn’t sound anything too crazy.

Building my bro in law a pc for his work office. Only office work and YouTube. Would 16gb ddr4 be OD or should I put in 8? I'll post pics when done.

8gb should be fine unless he's really doing heavy excel work, that case i'd do 16. Even then you can get by fine with 8.

8GB is more than enough.
And RAM prices are kinda ridiculous now.
Yea crazy what RAM is costing right now.

Does anyone in here have a Ryzen build? I have a pretty old i7 build, and was thinking about upgrading. But RAM prices is part of the reason I am holding back since my current RAM may not be compatible lol .

Same boat.

I do have a buddy that works at Corsair tho.

I'm gonna do a Ryzen build next. Probably with a 1600 or 2600.

Help guys. I kinda went OD and bought these two cases. Which do you guys think I should build in?

Upgrading my ram, adding liquid cooling and going to an I7.
