so my GPU died mid game.

i switched it for a spare 460 i had.. and then my sound card stopped working.

not my day today.

buy same card switch return to store get money back, make sure you put old card back in new card box an keep new card , money saved an your part is brand new , learn secrets of swap trick .........

I need some help installing my New video card. GTX 560 Ti.

It's not displaying anything on my monitor. I tried to look up the solution and came across this thread on the NVIDIA forums:

There's a few suggestions in there but I'm a bit confused on what exactly to do.

This guy says

check and see if there is a bios update for your motherboard. Some mobos don't like DirextX 11 GPUs

What do i download and where do i put it? I downloaded the latest BIOS version, but I don't know what to do with the file.

I think you need to download the Afudos BIOS update tool from the Asus download page if you no longer have the cd or dvd that came with the motherboard/if the cd or dvd doesnt have a bios updater.

This video shows how to update the bios of common Asus boards, proceed with extreme caution.

I'm adding an extra HDD and going to do RAID 0. I have like 800 gigs of stuff though and def don't want to loose any of it.
How can I back this stuff up without buying an external HDD?
