QUALITY IS DOPPE! I'll be printing em on 8x10 paper tmrw night.

Back in the darkroom, finally. Feels hella good.

It's a parking lot on Canal St. if you want to google image search it.

And to who asked about the "hulk hands"/[Seinfeld]"Man Hands"[/Seinfeld] girl picture, the EXIF data says it was shot at ISO 100 so I'mguessing it was just luck on the natural lighting or lighting of the park.

is hoya good? i should stay from anything under $50 right? haha

i'm willing to spend around $70 i know some go for $100/200+ but i found a hoya on amazon for 70 +#%

For skate heads.....I found a forum that is specified for filming and shooting skate stuff. Some interesting stuff and just interesting things that people use.I would say if people aren't using film cameras, they are all shooting with Nikons. Anyways...check it out:

Do you mean that your aperture was f/5?

If so, I would try using a smaller aperture (bigger number). That gets more of the image in focus too which is desirable in landscape pictures - but you'llneed to use a longer exposure so make sure that the camera is steady (although at 5s you were already doing that).

You'll always get that starry shape around lights - just the optics of it - but with a smaller aperture you should get a tighter sharper shape which Ithink looks better.

Try that - might not be the answer though.

Tried editing for the first time. What you guys think? I don't know anything about editing.

And another thing. How can I make my photos sharper? Do I have to edit them or what can I do when taking the picture?

JPioneer - You can just crank the sharpness up in your camera if you shoot jpeg but i recommend to shoot RAW and then do it in PS instead. (In this size youcan't really tell if they are sharp or not anyway.)

I would probably cropped the first photo from the left to get focus on the sunlight coming in on the wall/rail.
