100 % agree, their Sicilians are better than their regular slices. The Sicilians have this chewy & soft texture to them that I love.Hit up Lillian’s in Forest Hills, Queens this past week. A nice quiet part of Forest Hills, at least as long as there isn’t a concert happening at the Tennis Stadium. I had to go there after seeing those Sicilians in this thread. As mentioned before, this is Ray Romano’s spot. He grew up nearby and ate often at this pizzeria. They keep a signed pic of Ray by the door.
Pepperoni slice was good, nothing crazy. The Sicilians were better. Fresh out the oven, the cheese is better on the Sicilians than the regular slices. And the crust was crunchy. Especially for a Sicilian. Very interesting. It’s not doughy like the way places make their Sicilians. Thin, gooey cheese, crunchy crust. It’s a winner.
Need to make my way out here:
Costco pizza in general is trashCostco pizza in the UK is trash in comparison to the States. Was disappointing.
Olde World Pizza in North Haven, CT. Very good & similar to Modern. And donuts from Donut Crazy in New Haven.
Boston Cream without a doubt. Birthday Cake in the top right corner is a close 2nd.both looking great
what donut was your favorite?
Costco pizza in general is trash
I mean if you’re there and hungry it’s fine but outside of that…
