It's weird because the right gives no damns about the Uyghurs and if the US decided to do something they would vote against it. It's just another "all lives matter", a roadblock to dismiss and downplay any legitimate social issue that arises.

This is the part that's lost on a lot of these people who keep saying "the cops were black."

The baseline for police behavior was established in order to keep non-anglo-saxon minorities - immigrants in the North, slaves in the South - in check. It was maintained and reinforced during the Jim Crow and crack eras.

Gym's response, DeSatan's law on LGBT/Black education, and the overall behavior of the GOP have always been anchored in vagueness.

We know they have extremely unpopular policies; they know their policies are extremely unpopular. This is where the media is failing: they are not forcing Republicans to come clean about the true end-goal of the policies they implement.

A cop friend of mine explained to me that beyond the academy, most other training is optional. He takes a lot of training courses but he said most cops don't.
