Idk how much damage it'll do to Trump and I'm glad to see the coverage the Puerto Rico insult is getting across the media and hopefully it moves the needle even if it's just a little.

but it's kinda wild the whole watermelon "joke" just got glossed over lol

I hope my brothers who were offended by Obama caught that

It's absolutely wild. The double-standards in this society these days are absolutely crazy.

Man, this is precisely the conversation I’m having with a buddy this a.m.
I ask him about the level of disdain he showed for Obama over his comments vs Trump comments recently and asked why the level of disdain was uneven. He tells me “if you’re sending somebody into the jungle do you really care if they are a savage?”
Now, I don’t tell him he stole this reasoning from Cuomo or that I even heard the Cuomo clip I just took a fake phone call and walked away but it’s a leg to stand on, so to speak and though he’s the first I heard use this reasoning he definitely will not be the last.

"At 6:11 AM CT Bob Woodward disclosed on MSNBC, excerpts of notes reporting a closed-doors meeting this summer between Kamala Harris & Benjamin Netanyahu. Woodward statement:

[Kamala] was tough with Netanyahu, in a way that he did not like at all, and then she’s saying, Look at what’s going on in Gaza - is unconscionable an unconscionable humanitarian disaster. Then she went out to the Press and said exactly the exact same thing and said, I will not be silent. Netanyahu was furious, but he knew she may be the next President of the United States; so he didn't say anything. So her willingness to go get in his face, the motto “I will not be silent” is one of the things she ought to wear around her neck with pride."

It was kind of glossed over because it really isn't news for Republicans to say racist things about Black people. So it's like, ok, they said more racist stuff about Black people, for like the 50th time.

Also, Black people aren't voting Republican so it's not as much of a story. One of the main parts of this story is the reporters interviewing Puerto Ricans for their reactions and seeing the mixed reaction, some that will continue to gladly support Trump and dont mind being disrespected, and others that won't. Frankly, that is news when you can find people to go on TV and say they are OK with being told their homeland is a pile of garbage.

Agreed.
Some Puerto Ricans may vote for Kamala because of this. Puerto Ricans are nowhere near as republican as Cubans but they are definitely more republican than other latinos since they have legal status like Cubans. Cubans in US are still way more conservative because they have legal status and are whiter than the black and indigenous cubans who stayed in Cuba. They stayed because they had the most to gain from Castro's revolution and because they didnt have the resources to flee.

Looks like Trump got delivered some bad news about PA 😂

This is interesting. I understand that the polling is close and a lot of the swing states are within the margin of error but It still doesn't make sense for Trump to be a 2-to-1 favorite. If you look at polymarket, Trump is literally favored to win every single swing state and has become an overwhelming favor to win the presidency. He has similar odds to win as Joe Biden did in 2020 even though Joe was up 6-7 pts in the polls going into election night. It wouldn't surprise me if something fishy were going on.

Also what i dont get is how could this be a good strategy, if you're trump and you want to motivate people to vote you would want them to think you're slightly losing not massively leading, no?

If im a lazy dude im more likely to stay home if my pick is doing well in the polls.
