I’m usually the big optimist of this thread and I truly believe that if we do the work and vote, get our friends and family to vote and volunteer, we will win. Kamala is in great shape going into next week. Things are close but she’s run a brilliant campaign and I’m very proud of everyone in here that have rallied to support her and pushing back against lies. I won’t lie to you and argue that the polls are off or the media is hyping up a horse race. We live in a divided country where the electorate that votes is split but I truly believe that there are more good people on our side and that we will get this done.

As a proper professional eye-looker-at-er I’m not surprised at all - he can’t see £#!+!

I have no idea why glasses are so frowned upon in US and UK politics - both Bill Clinton and Tony Blair were criticised for using reading glasses as if it was some sort of moral failing.

It’s also bothering me about Walz - he’s obviously succumbed to the pressure and you’ll usually see him without glasses on at the moment. At least he’s not pretending to have hair - retained his dignity there.

The last 4 republican presidents have tanked the us economy and left it to democratic presidents to clean up the mess

And now trump is advocating for policies that literally lead to the Great Depression

But I’m sure less education will make Americans smarter

Also what i dont get is how could this be a good strategy, if you're trump and you want to motivate people to vote you would want them to think you're slightly losing not massively leading, no?

If im a lazy dude im more likely to stay home if my pick is doing well in the polls.

I think the strategy here is to sow seeds of doubt with the election results. They will say "how is it possible that Trump loses when all the betting markets had him favorite?"
