***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I would like to see posts in this thread in 2020. Trump looked like the clear winner election night, and then metro areas swooped in.

Still early but slowly getting that '16 feel rather than '20...

The Latino breakdown and movement towards the Republicans is something

I think it's being undervalued how much the Israel-Palestine situation impacted this election for democrats. A lot of extreme liberals chose to sit out this election due to not wanting to pick either side knowing they'd continue to fund Israel. Then you have the Muslim population that largely also skipped the election completely rather than vote for a pro-Israel candidate.
good point

serious question but was biden that bad as president or is the US not ready for a woman president

She didn't have enough time to make a lasting impression or sway people who were on the fence about her. Trump had 8 years to shift a portion of the population that disliked him as a candidate in the past. Kamala had a few months to convince anyone who wasn't sold on her

Yet they want to blame black men when the exit polling has literally been the same coming out of this one.
The black vote (male and female) for Dems is the single most reliable and consistent demographic and voting bloc for any party yet we have to go through that same mind numbing discourse every 4 years while we see the demographics who can actually swing elections (white women, latinos) skating by without the same level of accountability :lol: :{

the west not looking good along with PA, GA, VA, and NC

You do know the west coast is voting for Kamala, correct?

it's not healthy to be in here with y'all constantly refreshing :lol:

I'm more worried about LA County supervisors, the DA and the corrupt mayoral candidates in my city :{

It’s likely that, in some cases, certain individuals may display support for movements like Black Lives Matter to align with popular sentiment rather than out of genuine commitment.

^ thats why I was confused why biden waited so late to step down and let Kamala do her thing... its just weird to me that donald was indicted on so many charges but was still able to run for a third time... when they made that exception I knew he had a legit chance... then he got shot at so the public prally felt bad for him...unless Kamala can come back down 3-1 like the cavs her chances look slim though smh

IMO it has more to do with the fact that the Democrats didn't have a primary this year. And Kamala just wasn't that popular if a candidate to begin with
this and I think they lost credibility rolling out Biden when he clearly was not fit and then not having back up plan

Dems had 4 years to plan after Biden won in 2020 and literally did nothing except trot Joe back out there.

Can’t comprehend how anyone thought that was a good idea, low key convinced they want Trump to win.
