Also the economic blueprint for Dems should be moving towards a benefit system for people that provides them with the option of direct cash payments instead of always social programs + other **** that is great but they never connect the dots with as being a product of the governement helping them out.
People prefer money and a lot of minority folks got paychecks from the gov in 2020 and that was more beneficial to them than anything else the government has really ever done.
If AI is real, UBI is pretty unescaple anyway
1. people don't vote on foreign policy generally. any poll that tells you x would have won if the took position a or b o a foreign policy issue is not to be trusted.
2. Gaza SPLITS them dem coalition. either way you lose people. you just want them to be on your side. ultimately it wouldn't matter either way.
thats why issues that split your coalition are bad.
1. If you positioned the claim for “do you want less of the budget going towards funding a foreign war that would get America entrapped in a dangerous conflict”, 8 out of ten people would rush to take that position. 7/10 now support a ceasefire, more would agree if it’s framed as American money going to waste.
2. Jews are Democratic for now but that won’t last as you see liberal ashkenazi’s like me disappear and conservative Jews like

being the dominant force who bemoan people receiving government checks as spending it on “sneakers, jewelry and flight”. The future of Jewish America demographically is a conservative one, it makes no sense to pander to those voters when they live in blue states anyway and the large majority would still vote for the Dems regardless of whether or not you cut off military aid to Israel, which 1. isn’t a popular position and 2. Bothers no significant demographic.
Once again, the Dems problem is there lack of authenticity. They claim to care about the climate, they claim to care about minorities etc. but little action is done but we see constant flip-flopping. Chasing efficiency and pragmatism get you nowhere in today’s climate.
