The price of the "official" Trump memecoin has surged since its Friday evening launch, breaking into the crypto top 20 by market capitalization and hitting an eye-watering $14 billion.

Now, as leaks reveal Trump is readying a flurry of crypto-focused executive orders, Trump's wife Melania has launched her own rival cryptocurrency—tanking the price of Trump's coin.

Like Trump's coin, Melania's memecoin—a type of cryptocurrency similar to bitcoin that derives value from the level of community interest and engagement—has been launched on the solana blockchain.

"This is beyond insane," analysts at The Kobeissi Letter posted to X. "Less than 48 hours ago, Donald Trump launched $trump which just erased $7.5 billion in market cap in 10 minutes. In the minutes around the launch of Melania Trump's token, we saw massive sell orders in $trump."

"Looks like crypto is becoming a family business," X influencer Mario Nawfal posted.

Following the launch of Melania's coin, Trump's memecoin crashed by around 40%, diving as traders scrambled to buy the new coin, according to on-chain data.

A sudden infusion of $30 million into Donald Trump's nascent cryptocurrency venture from a Chinese billionaire sued by the Securities and Exchange Commission for allegedly defrauding investors could potentially deliver an eight-figure payday to a company associated with the president-elect.

The investment has sparked new concerns about Trump's ability to potentially profit from foreign investors, and his positions on cryptocurrency following a presidential campaign in which he vowed to make the United States "the crypto capital of the planet."

Justin Sun -- a cryptocurrency billionaire famous in part for his purchase of a $6 million banana art piece last month -- announced his $30 million investment in the Trump-backed World Liberty Financial last week, making him the company's largest investor.

It’s gonna be real ironic in 4 years when Trump goes out of office and people are going to have to admit he “made America worst again”. I am sure the true fanatics will find some random acronym to blame but the more honest trumpers are going to own up to what we’re about to see.

The **** show is officially beginning tomorrow I just hope everyone here took this reprieve to prep for the deregulation, austerity, and tariffs. Unless you’re wealthy then congratulations on the bigger tax cut.

Washington — The incoming Trump administration is planning to ramp up operations to arrest unauthorized immigrants across major U.S. cities next week after President-elect Donald Trump takes office, targeting "sanctuary" jurisdictions that limit cooperation with federal immigration officials, two sources familiar with the plans tell CBS News.

The locations expected to be targeted by deportation teams from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement include those with large populations of immigrants, such as the Chicago area, one of the sources said.

ICE officials in the Chicago area recently put out a request for agents to participate in the post-inauguration arrest operations, unbeknownst to top agency leaders in Washington, a U.S. official familiar with the developments told CBS News.

Asked on Fox News about a potential ICE operation in Chicago next week — a plan first reported by The Wall Street Journal — incoming White House "border czar" Tom Homan said "there's gonna be a big raid all across the country.""

I expect NYC to bow down. Eric Adam’s had a meeting with trump last week. I told ya’ll months ago they were going to do this. SMH

I have some friends here who overstayed their visas. I’m a bit worried.
i expect them to go after easy targets that look good on tv. Probably people already in jails. They would have to have a lot of momentum to try and go after targets like families and schools. It really depends on how much people enjoy the circus of cruelty. Kind of like watching a show at the coliseum in Rome.

This is just wild.

It looks like he has his arms forward to balance because he’s unable to stand upright without tipping over backwards.

“The more honest trumpers” do not exist on this planet.

A stupid hypothetical just popped into my head at 11 AM and it’s bothering me that I’m uncertain of the answer. It’s about Florida’s Stand Your Ground laws.

So in this hypothetical scenario we have 2 people, both carrying a concealed gun.
For convenience, let’s call Florida Man A Billy Hill. Florida Man B is called Ned Recks.

Billy is minding his business but all of a sudden Ned instigates a verbal confrontation and tries to get physical. Ned throws the first punch.
Ned is winning the physical fight and prepares his finishing move but notices Billy pulls out a gun.
Ned quickly pulls his own gun out as well.

Both Florida Men successfully shoot eachother. Both are unable to continue the altercation.

Ned instigated everything, though both used their gun in a imminent threat scenario.

So what’s the outcome in this scenario? Is Ned shooting the person he’s physically attacking legally covered by the fact he saw Billy pull out a gun? It qualifies as an imminent threat because anyone would’ve presumed Billy was gonna shoot Ned. Billy is obviously legally in the clear because it’s onvious self-defense against a violent instigator.

People don't get it.

Calling out his lies...
Calling out his crimes...
Calling out his subversion...

Does not emphasize his faults.

Instead it emphasizes his hold on power.

He is not beholden to the truth, to the justice or political system, he has risen above it. Abetted by the system itself by the way. Curtain Comey worried more about optics than russia collusion, so he hid it and pointed at Hillary's emails instead. Biden wanted to appear impartial, so he refused to remove a partial judge. Insisting to adhere perfectly to decorum and the rules, when your opponent has abandoned both is an effective losing strategy.

And he is not ashamed of his lies, crimes, corruption, he is proud of them: "They let you do it, they let you do anything." Trump grabbed America by the ***** and here we are.

And say what you will about the feces smearing J6 insurrectionists, but they were willing to fight for a lie. No one is going to storm The Capitol for the truth or for America. People are going to hunker down and pray, that he will go away in four years.

But why would he?

He is going to commit so many new crimes, that he can never relinquish power.

And why would he?
