Like I wonder if he's really going to gut social security and medicade like we know paul ryan wants to.

Infrastructure spending, nope.

-Also, the word is the GOP is going to try to put out the flames on the anti-trade talk. And Dems is definitely filibuster draconian immigration reforms.

Trump's working class base is about to get a rude awakening.

Well NT, i proudly lost a lot of friends today. As a straight white male, anyone who openly supports or voted for Trump is dead to me. I don't care about anybody logic they try to spew at me or try to claim they aren't racist or had people.

Clinton got 42%

I am indeed white, but who the hell are you to infer what privileges I've gotten from being white?

Have I ever been on any kind of government assistance? Nope. Been paying my own way since I was 17.

Have I ever gotten any assistance with school or college? Nope. Spent about $30K, every CENT out of MY OWN pocket, and I'm still a ways from being done.

Have I ever gotten any assistance for my daughter, despite being an unemployed, no income single parent early in her life, during the recession? Nope. Depleted MY OWN savings so we could get by, though.

Have I ever been discriminated against based on my appearance? Most definitely. Although I may be white, I also used to consistently be anywhere from 50-120 lbs. overweight, so I've dealt with instances of superficial, prejudiced jerk offs too.

I'm still trying to figure out when exactly I'm going to benefit from all this white privilege that so many self-righteous entitled douchebags keep insisting I have? If I have it, I sure haven't found it yet, chief.

Wow, how can someone who has had God's hand, all of the angels, then even Jesus made in his image, have it so rough? So sad that you have not been able to experience what has been created for you. You do realize that it is your own fault, right? Deal with it.

I tried to have a convo with a friend of mine who cmvoted Trump and he couldn't even talk. I tried to understand it from his perspective but his ignorance was just terrible. He just spouted nonsense and false info so I just deaded the convo there was no point to it

If you're white and deny white privilege absolutely exists, then you're ignorant and shouldn't be allowed to speak on the issue.

Just because you've been paying your own bills since you're 17 doesn't mean white privilege doesn't exist. The advantages of being white has been so deeply ingrained into society it's not as obvious to many as it should be. Institutionalized white privilege absolutely exists, if you think being white doesn't give you certain advantages when it comes to employment, admission to different schools, immigration and a general perception from the public then you're in denial.

Admitting white privilege exists doesn't mean you're a white racist bigot, it's being aware of what's really going on in society. And it's even more important as a minority to acknowledge white privilege exists to better prepare yourself for the real world out there.

Might be, but for someone who has a harsh stance on immigration, when a lot of them defected here, or had relatives who defected here, under hard circumstances, I didn't expect the numbers to look like that in this election.

More like Cubans got green cards as soon as they touched down, courtesy of Reagan. I doubt Venezuelans were treated the same.

In addition, Cuba is a communist country, not socialist. Learn the difference.
