With fantasy higher than ever (approved after being banned by the govt) and Deflategate over, you would think that the ratings would have been at least steady. Not in decline.

Just think you guys are ignoring an outside force that has never been factored in before......

Ask me what the score is for tonights Sunday night game. I have no clue. All I know tom Brady is playing.

Fantasy football has nothing to do with ratings. All I have to do is check on my phone the scores and how my players are doin without turning on the tv and sitting down and watching a football game.

I'm not watching football based on the protests throughout the league. I'm just not into it anymore. It's boring and not as important on a Sunday compared to spending time with my family. I'm sure people share my pov.

More and more people are paying more attention to politics. It's more of a priority based on uncertainty from the new president elect and everyone is weary what his next move is. The country is so divided that it's taken the joy out of life. That also has some influence into the unpopularity of the sport. The games in London: could they send any worst teams to play?? Raiders play next week in Mexico City so I'll tune for that. Other than that, my interest is basically non existent.

You what's funny, I can see Obama and Trump ending up being friends.

Nearly all politicians that one time had a somewhat adversarial relationship with him from a distance, after spending extended time with Obama end up living dude. Biden grew to be his best friend, Dubya Bush and him by all accounts have a great friendship, Bill Clinton raves about him as a person, and John Boehner went from shading Obama constantly to being his buddy and repeating in nearly every interview 'The President is a good man, we just disagree".

Even people that criticize Obama's judgment and/or rhetoric, speak highly of him as a person.

Obama is a grown man and he's free to do what he wants. If he wants to spend time away from politics, he's earned that.

But if he's willing to befriend Trump to keep him under control, I don't see how that doesn't benefit everyone

makes you wonder who the bad guys ultimately are

I never have went on Tor but it's always interesting to read up on the history of it and how it "infamous" now. Originally a Navy created project that is now basically a black market for drugs, bitcoin, hitmen, child porn, hacking, and whistleblower material.
I mean it's not the first time FBI has practiced entrapment. But it's a gray area though, the predators should get caught, but why is FBI operating an illegal website. Lots of unanswered questions.

If Trump is successful and gets 8 years in, bring jobs, helps minorities get employment, fixes inner-city not named NYC it would render liberals to da ash heap for a generations upon generations plus.

And if he's a failure, those jobs never come back, we're in a recession again, in another war, you know what usually has happened under GOP leadership n what then? He's has to get through 4 years without regression, which if he's the candidate he ran as will be difficult.

This part reminds me of the end of w. Bush's 2nd term
