See, this is one of the main problems why the DNC lost though, they didn't do enough to address the concerns of the blue collar workers out there in the rust belt and Midwest.

Trump's plans to artificially create an energy market is going to be a short term gain for those workers...but in the long run it won't pan out to better and cheaper energy sources along with automation. However, the rust belt workers would rather take the work and be paid mediocrely for it. Pretty close to slave labor. Oh well, you reap what you sow.

Ninjas logic equates to someone predicting that the Cavs wouldn't come back down from 3-1 (since you know it hadn't ever been done in the finals before) somehow discredits all of their basketball acumen. No matter them playing the game, analyzing it or whatever expertise they have. It doesn't work that way.

The CBS interview gave Trump some tough questions. For the most part I think he handled it well. He came off as a whole lot more presidential and reasonable. I doubt he'll keep his promise that he won't touch gay marriage though. He did say he'll pick pro-life supreme court justices.
Which by itself is already a setback to policies that should've stayed in the medieval times, but anti-abortion and anti-homosexuality usually go hand in hand. Doubt there's any of those anti-abortion biblethumpers out there who don't at least have a negative view of homosexuality.

From what I know, it seems like Trump is going to leave abortion policies to the states. So if you need an abortion you just have to travel across state lines. Inconvenient, but it's a compromise. The topic of abortion is a hard one for me. I sympathize with both sides.
I feel if you must do it it's got to be early. I hate late term abortion when they already got hands and feet and other body parts.

I understand the woman's right but baby's develop a heartbeat as early as 5weeks so to me, anything after that is no bueno

5 weeks. I'm a nurse and I forgot this. It's really 5 weeks? Damn. That puts most ppl in a tough spot cuz I know some won't know they pregnant until after 5 weeks. Yea, after a heartbeat develops that's just tough for me.

The term limit on abortion here is 12 weeks, I think that's fine. In case of medical emergency it can be performed at any time but the mother's health would have to be at serious risk.
Certain red states would undoubtedly ban abortion. Sure they can drive to a different state but imagine if you're a woman who got raped and you're carrying your rapist's child. You want to get rid of it but the state tells you no you don't have the right to terminate a rape pregnancy here. Forcing them to go to another state just adds insult to injury.
And banning abortion seems like it would increase unsafe abortions again, regardless of whether it's allowed in other nearby states.
I certainly understand why someone would object to abortion but I think it's infringing on basic human rights to force abortion bans on everyone. Tim Kaine for example personally objects to it but he supports pro-choice legislation.

It's one of the toughest topics for me.
A lot of things are cut and dry for me.
Racial equality. That's easy.

Yea, in certain circumstances I have no problem w/ it but if you keep lettin dudes shoot the club up and u don't wanna have a baby, u need to start taking proper precautions, u and the dude(s).

If I recall correctly Belgium was one of the first countries to legalize abortion. Religion is also much less of a factor here so there's less Mike Pence types trying to force medieval policies like banning gay marriage and abortion on the people. We're long past that stage.
I was a nursing student so the topic came up numerous times in class. I know some people who are personally against it of course but I've yet to meet anyone who thinks it should be banned.
Objecting to it is fine, I just think trying to force pro-life legislation on everyone is crossing the line. Nobody is forcing these pro-lifers to have an abortion, but they want to prevent everyone else from having one.
A classmate of mine has MS and got his diagnosis shortly after he impregnated his wife. They ended up deciding to terminate the pregnancy because they feared the child would grow up with MS and have a horrible life. It was a very tough choice for them but I would've done the same thing. With a 50% chance of the child getting MS I'd rather terminate it than keep the child only to see him/her grow up in misery.
