***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I know what his point was and I know where it leads.

It's one of those forensic team debate topics. There is no right or wrong answer. It just depends on what side your on.

Electoral College. Hate it or love it but it decides elections based on the votes of the electorate. Trump won. She lost.

I'm not going to get into a debate about the popular vote vs the Electoral College.
Of course you won't. Your candidate just won the electoral vote despite having over million and a half Americans more preferring his opponent as the president.

It's not so much the fact that the electoral vote and not the popular vote that decides the election that is an outrage. It's how unfairly the electoral vote is distributed: California: 70 times the population of Wyoming. 60 times the Gross State Product of Wyoming. 18 times the electoral vote of Wyoming.

Repudiation of Obama should be consequential across the board one would think. But that's not been the case clearly.

But you can't for the life of you argue against the content of his piece, because you don't understand the subject matter.

Let us keep that in mind

-Funny you didn't have these objections when Ninja was posting article and interviews from Trump employees

There are those here that no more than me on such matters. I merely made my objections known and pointed out the partisanship that the piece represented. I used to be more knowledgeable on economic theory and practice before but it wasn't my thing so I moved to the political side. But that's not excuse. I'll go and do some readings and gain a firmer non biased understanding and will come back to shut you and your cronies down, as usual. Enjoy this little win. Especially after the monumental loss you took earlier this month.
Cheers.

You sound saltier than Vegeta after Goku saves his ***.

Talking about "you'll be back"

I already know the counter argument for Krugman's points, so happy studying, we'll be around.

But lemme have a drink to celebrate you finally admitting you don't know what you're talking about.........

Trillary up 1.7 million votes on The Bigot.
The electoral college is a terrible system but it is what it is. Trump won and no amount of votes is gonna do anything to change that.

Her camp gotta be frustrated as hell seeing that number go higher as Trump is settling in

:eek

A stunning repudiation of Donald Trump and strong vote of confidence for our POTUS Obama!

Facing off against one of the most unpopular candidates in modern times, Donald still lost the popular vote by nearly 2 million people. That is enough to fill most of middle America. This is even with the help of wikileaks, FBI, and the Russian government. Imagine if Comey hadn't interfered with 2 weeks left. The loss could be even worse!

Now, now, before you Trump apologists get upset... I understand Trump "won" the count that matters, which is the electoral college. But please don't act like it's a strong mandate on anything, especially on Obama's performance. That is an overly simple conclusion to reach from what was a very complicated election year.
