Is this real life? Is this big, or am I buggin'?

I really hope so, even if it means a Mike pence presidency I would love to see Trump disgraced in front of the world. Sounds terrible because I do love this country, but this guy is just arrogant, idiotic and full of ****. That said, I'm not getting my hopes up. :lol

Chirikova described the political motivations driving many activists and individuals engaged in civil society to flee Russia, claiming that due to aggressive repression, emigration became necessary to ensure their safety. In particular, the campaign against Putin’s re-election in 2012 ignited an activist outcry and political backlash.

The crackdown in 2012 was marked by not only political repression, but economic hindrances as well, leading to the alternative cause of Russian emigration. Under Putin, “the creative class started to revolt internally,” and “it became clear that you can’t continue in the context of growing corruption,” said Erofeev. As a result, many Russian entrepreneurs left the country in order to realize their business aspirations in the United States or other Western countries.

[...]

Ultimately, entrepreneurs are leaving Russia “because they have no economic opportunity to use their skills,” said Polyakova.

I remember telling the pro-Russian crowd last year that if the former countries in the Eastern bloc had anything to gain from a Russian-controlled sphere of influence, they would entertain economic and cultural cooperation with the Kremlin.

This Trump Clown show is a perfect example of White Male privilege in action. Obezzy would have been sent to Kenya if he would have engaged in Trump's foolery.

trump is in over his head and every piece of evidence is pointing to the same obvious truth. This will be big and there will be collateral damage that lasts for years or decades. Whether we get pence for 2 years or whatever else is insignificant compared to the fallout from the trump-Russia scandal.

I know this could still fall apart and trump could make it through, but I have some faith in the FBI and CIA to get this done right. And by "done right," I don't mean well done. I mean medium rare.

I think Don will skate unfortunately. Republicans are putting party over country. They're gonna protect him because they don't want to destroy their party.

Something like this was in plain sight before the elections... he actively asked Russia to hack more emails. The ties were there, yet he was still elected by people claiming a man tied to Russia was a true American. I'm not optimistic about any of this having any real affect. The GOP does not care.

Sadly, this. The past 5 months have just demonstrated the depth of corruption this government is capable of

You may be right. As Rusty explained a few days ago, the way to "win" is through the midterm elections and things like that. The Russia probe is like extra credit. If it comes through, great. But we should have a strategy that succeeds regardless of what the fallout is. Because ultimately, trump or no trump, we need a competent Congress if we're going to move forward as a country.

That said, I paid full price for the trump show, and I don't care if his life story is a tragedy or a comedy. I just want to see trump get screwed in the end.

He can't skate if there is a case. I don't believe the Republicans will put their careers in jeopardy to save his ***.

If they cover up for him and the evidence is legit and clear, it will leak to the press and ALL the Republicans in congress will be political pariahs. The current crop of congresspeople will not survive 2018 and beyond.

There is a reason they want the healthcare bill to pass so fast. They know that once the real info about Trump is made public, nothing will be done as far as tax cuts and government shrinking are concerned. They want to pass all this stuff to be able to save face once (if) their hand is forced and they have to impeach Trump.

Even if all those chumps in Washington are able to maintain their places, I'm comforted by the fact that the morons and racists who voted for them will suffer

the congressional black caucus met with trump and they have him this book:

! @RepRichmond tells the President that his comments about @BarackObama, inner cities were hurtful to community. #ALOTTOLOSE

strong work by a group meeting with trump, for once. Barson must be upset at them.

My sources tell me that Barson was cool with the meet and greet but Steven Harvey was beside himself that they wouldn't show Da Don the respect he deserves. Steven Harvey is reaching out to Brother Clarence to seek guidance.
