Trump was kind of right,
Blacks and other minorities don’t have ish to lose. We gotta stop voting for Dems just because they’re the “lesser of two evils”. F it don’t vote in Nov and let these scary old Dems lose their seats.
Yep just hand them over to Republicans
Show how much spine you got
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

The repubs were for the Chip program though. They’ve lost all of their leverage by caving. Repubs ain’t gonna take them seriously if they theeathen another shutdown.
If the GOP was for the CHIP why didn't they vote to extend it 120 days ago? They claim they are for DACA yet month have passed and they have done nothing.

Because they were using it as leverage to get the Dems vote.

They gave up the CHIP hostage for 3 extra weeks.

Ain’t much change for folk of color when the dems had power. Putting a spineless dem won’t do **** either. Look at that dem clown in Alabama voting with the repubs.

If they didn't want it why did they vote to extend it...? Your logic doesn't make sense. Even without CHIP the Democrats would have had to vote to keep the government open. Despite several republicans stating that they wanted to keep CHIP funded, your position is that they didn't want to despite their vote... Makes sense.

:rolleyes

That would make sense if Republicans were an actual better option for minorities and people of color. But yah know by looking at the current president who is a Republican, something is amiss >D

When the GOP controls 2/3s of government and call a Constitutional Convention, people like Timid gonna be complaining about the Dems not showing enough spine to stop them.

Hustling backwards at it's finest. Like anyone playing attention knows that politicians take firmer stances when their seats are NOT in danger.

So what do liberals constantly do, threaten to put the seat in danger. :smh:

Threaten to support primary challengers, not to staying home in the general.

Dems caved. Ain’t gonna be no daca. Why support a party that doesn’t support or fight for you.

Well the other option right now is Republicans. So things can either get marginally worse or far worse.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend*

*Until a better alternative comes along

Well the one thing I will concede is that the Democrat Party does have problems, but for someone to say they would rather let Republicans handle issues of race and inequality :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Yes, Democrats are the problem with DACA . Lol. No DACA bill will pass because that **** will die in the House. The senate can and may probably pass a bill, even Trump may hint in public that he'll sign off on it but that bill will be DOA as soon as it hits the House. The House Freedom ****s and limp noodle Ryan ain't even gonna allow that bill to reach the floor for a vote. The House operates right now and for the last couple of years like the democrats don't even exist.

Which makes people who say they don't intend to vote in future elections because Democrats aren't fighting for them sound even dumber. "You're" part of the reason we're in this predicament right now. The GOP wants you to stay home and not vote.

One thing that pissed me off last month about the Democrats was when Congressman Al Green introduced Articles of Impeachment and it was defeated... 364-58. ONLY 58 out of 187 Democrats voted yes. That by itself should be a sign. And now this... a 3 day standoff only to get bent over again? Pathetic.

You try to impeach Trump and it will just bring more Republican turnout in future polls.

And you want the government to be shutdown on the issue of DACA where Trump and GOP are unwilling to compromise? Well gee might as well invite more public backlash when government workers are pissed off that they aren't at work for a month. Or other necessary functions that people rely on.

And you guys now don't want to vote for the opposition party even though you are mad at the majority party politics. SMH WOW

Tell me, what's the best option that could be done now and in a couple months? No viable 3rd party is coming up, so what's it gonna be?

The world, country, leftist and liberals deserve a better Democratic Party.

But...

The Democratic Party also deserves a better voter base.

Like my man's @gry60 say, folk don't want good governance, they want a benevolent Santa Claus.

Some voters refuse to realize that they can't just be the kids waiting for gifts, but also the elves that have to put in the work too.

Let's be real.. impeachment won't happen however the Democrats could have least voted by party line on that and show some competent leadership and unity. That whole midnight grandstanding before the 'shutdown' was for what exactly? Only one day US Govt offices were closed? Really? That's it? Were the Democrats truly afraid that they were going to be get an ear full from their constituents because the IRS is closed and tax filing season starts on Jan 29?

CHIP got extended for 6 years. Not all was lost. Now Republicans can't hold that over Democrats if they threaten again come Feb. 8th.
