NyTimes would be infinitely better without the op eds
I just don't read them. I find opinion sections on news outlets to be a bit distasteful in general and it's something I normally avoid on any given news platform. I may read the occasional op-ed here and there if I'm made aware of it through a third party and the author is someone I respect or has information I may be interested in but I never really browse the opinion section. Definitely not on my WSJ subscription  All kinds of buffoonery going on in their opinion section.

Just saw this when i went to boltons wiki

Trumps going to wait another year or so, then start a war so that he can use that as a reason to get re-elected. It's the old page out of the George bush jr playbook.

We had a good run boys
YALL had a good run. I'm about to get my dual citizenship on. Gonna build a nice little house on my grandmother's land back home and live out the rest of my days while the US is getting bombed by China, Russia and NK.

Every few months I'll take an island hopper to go visit RustyShackleford RustyShackleford in Lucia where we'll enjoy a nice merlot with our avocado toast while we plot to turn the whole West Indies into a post apocalyptic socialist haven.

Dear HR Mcmaster,

Do you remember, the summer of 1995?
You were in Chapel Hill working on your thesis, that would eventually become your first published book. "Dereliction of Duty"

Do you remember the theme of the book?
The idea was that the reason the Vietnam war happened was military leaderships inability to tell hard truths to the political class in DC.

As a result you were deemed the "Warrior Scholar" a man with a sterling reputation, someone who could be relied upon to tell hard truths even in the face powerful political head winds.

So when you put that "sterling reputation "in the hands of a stubby fingered, two bit hustler and bigot Donald Trump,
did you for a second stop and think about the book you wrote about the HARD TRUTHS you criticized the Vietnam generals for failing to tell.

Did you tell "Hard truths" when they asked you to cover the presidents *** when he revealed classified information to a Russian diplomat days after firing James Comey?

Did you tell "hard truths" when they used you as a political sock puppet to add a cheap veneer of legitimacy to an administration full of grffters, racists and sociopaths?

You didn't, you were just as cowardly, just as mendacious as the Vietnam generals, and so Donald Trump took your sterling reputation, and had three Russian prostitutes take a **** on it while you could do nothing but watch in horror.

So unfortunatley I have to tell you some hard truths, it doesn't matter how smart, it doesn't matter how respected....

IF YOU MAKE A DEAL WITH TRUMP YOU WILL BE LEFT A BROKEN AND HUMILIATED MAN.

Best Regards,
Osh Kosh Bosh.
