Call me an optimist but I think trump is done for, he will lose by a landslide. He has both parties to worry about. There is a lot of extreme republicans on the fringe right but for the most part the right is going to flip on him. They don't do it now because they're cowards and they don't care about the people, but mostly because it isn't to their interest. I think when campaign season begins they will come out in droves in an "effort to save" the republican party. That's just the problem he'll have with the right.

I think just within the pool of his voters a lot of them are gone, starting with evangelicals, that group of "decent" republicans that have always and will always vote republican are gone. Trumpgret is real. One thing that is troubling is people "turning" racist or becoming "more racist" and that's difficult to gauge, but I don't think there is more racist people than good people in this country. By far

Not only that but 2020 will be the year the left shows up, 2024 they might forget but 2020 its serious lol. This past election was heavily manipulated with many variables that are difficult to identify in a few sentences but the left has developed a mentality where losing is not an option. People will show up and check the blue box whoever whatever don't matter.

You can talk about how you'll vote for anyone to get Trump out, but that's just not how most others will feel. Once again, there will be salt in the chunk of the left that doesn't get their candidate in as was the case with Bernie Bros in 2016 and they won't vote for the Democrat candidate, and once again evangelical "family values" people will vote for grab 'em by the ***** porn-star affair having guy without hesitation. The left's idealism will be its undoing and the hypocrite lying right will laugh all the way to the bank.

Wrong about 2016

83% of Bernie supporters voted for Clinton in 2016. By contrast, only 75% of Clinton supporters voted for Obama in 2008.

The Democratic Party wins when it can boldly oppose GOP policy. The Dems lose when they try to be a slightly more woke version of the GOP.

In 2002 and 2004, Dems hedged their bets on Iraq. They sided with Bush and they lost. In 2006 and 2008, they went into opposition mode and they won.

In 2010, Dems decided that we needed to moderate and embrace austerity while most Americans were still reeling from an economic depression. Dems lose.

In 2012, Dems regained their spine and unapologetically embraced the idea that government can and should make the lives of ordinary people better. They rejected the idea that Mitt Romney’s wealth was guarantee of wisdom or civic virtue. Joe Biden told a crowd that Wall Street would put you in chains. President Obama proudly told capitalists that they did not build that. Dems won.

In 2014, Dems distanced themselves from Obama and liberalism. Turnout was very low and Dems lose the Senate.

In 2016, Clinton decided that wealthy white women, who ordinarily voted Republican, should be courted to the exclusion of the working class (nope, not white working class, the entire working class). Those rich women in the ‘burbs broke for Trump, as expected, overall turnout was low and Dems lose.

So the question is, how will Dems approach 2018? This far, they seem to want pursue the 2016 strategy. It puts their chances of electoral victory in doubt but what is certain is that the Party will have a boatload if excuses if they do fail.

Depends if the challenger attempts to be Trump-lite instead of anti-Trump. Which, any single celled animal would be smart enough to run as anti-Trump. But don't consider this a slam dunk. Libs couldn't stand GWB, and what happens? They roll out John flippin Kerry in 2004, who ran as the Dem version of Bush. Bush wins by (wait for it............) 3,012,166 votes. Something about that 3m number.

The U.S works in the following political cycle since after the Civil War. When the two main, and really, only parties became Democrats and Republicans.

- Elect a right-wing, reactionary, imperialist president, which is the status quo. Said president will piss off enough Dems to turn congress blue. With that being said, this president usually ends up voted into a second term (exceptions are Harrison, Taft, Hoover, G.H.W Bush and Gerald Ford). Leading to
- Election of a left-wing, progressive, imperialist president. Said president will piss off enough Repugs to turn congress red. With that being said, this president usually ends up voted into a second term (exceptions: Cleveland, Jimmy Carter who got played by Reagan during the Iran hostage crisis, and LB Johnson who chose not to run again). Leading to
- Election of a right-wing, reactionary, imperialist president...yada, yada, yada

We play this game every alternating 4 years. Winter/Summer olympics. Lets play a new game.

This is the people we must organize against. They are willing to look at videos and pictures of children being irreversibly scarred, and chalk it up as fake.

I know I sound like a broken record, but please register to vote.

I OFTEN MOVE CHILDREN TO NYC FROM THE SOUTHERN BORDER AT 12:45AM, NOTHING TO SEE HERE

That's the only time that makes sense. Libs make something out of nothing Again. These kids were going to the Coal mines under Manhattan where our president elect learned to mine Coal. This is a beautiful sight to see. #libshateAmerica

Aepps, I'm glad you're around for comic relief because this has been a hard week.

For anyone curious as to what will probably happen to some of these children, as far as I know:

- They will deport parents without children

- They will be placed into foster care and declared "abandoned" after a certain time, even though these parents have no way to stay in touch with the court.

- They will be given to new families, sometimes with incentives like 1k/month per child, according to flyers that are already out.

Absolutely unconscionable.

We tried to warn ya...

I watched a Netflix on Roger Stone and they featured some farmers in the documentary leading up to the election. They had so much high praise on DJT about his stance on agriculture and they BOUGHT his businessman skills which supposedly could help them prosper.

HE LIIIEEEEEED!

Wild thought: DJT has his people "buy" the affected lands and completely "restores" trade talks with China and BOOOOM!

Trump Farms
