Good! You guys are playing checkers. The goal is to beat trump and the only way you do that is if you are right in the middle. If he says he will leagalize marijuana, trump will say that Biden wants there to be open borders and open drug trade. And his dimwit followers will believe it and vote for him again. All Biden has to do is stay super neutra on everything and we win!!!

Biden does not represent the middle, he represents the past.
Biden vs trump. Lots of former trump voters vote for Biden.
Warren/Buttigieg/Sanders vs trump. Lots of trump voters will just say “nah I’m cool off those guys. I don’t like trump but I’m not a socialist so... trump it is”

tryin to win this election flipping trump voters is a lost cause. Increasing overall turnout should be the play.

yup.. dude barely won last time and has been bleeding support and that’s with them demonizing Hillary, the racism against Obama, sexism, plus media beating the email thing to death while ignoring obvious stuff

he can’t win with just his base, but his base is white folks... so America

man I hope Biden don’t win the nom
I don’t even think Obama wants him to win the nom
During the 2008 primary Obama constantly attacked Biden as someone the Democratic Party should move beyond.

When they were in power Obama constantly joke with him that he should not run

Obama talked him out of running in 2016

He also been talking to Biden's aides, ask them to make sure he doesn't embarrass himself.

Anyone paying close attention can tell Obeezy doesn't think he should be the nominee.

A pro-government Haitian senator recently went on the radio and made an unexpected admission: The Haitian government, of which he is a part, runs on corruption.

Even in a country that has become numbed to such allegations the acknowledgment was stunning.

There is always money distributed for the ratification of a prime minister,” Sen. Kedlaire Augustin said on the popular “Guest of the Day” program on Vision 2000 hosted by journalist Valéry Numa. “This is the practice. Without these actions, some senators may not be in favor of the government in question

That's the GOP today.

”Most convincing to some Democrats may be the off-year elections this month in Kentucky and Louisiana, where moderate-to-conservative Democrats prevailed in governors’ races that President Trump worked strenuously to win for his party. The victories bolstered the argument, advanced by some leading Democrats, that the party could peel away some of Mr. Trump’s supporters in 2020 by avoiding “litmus test” battles and courting the political middle.”

because of our stupid system of gerrymandering we call the electoral college and the demographics of the few states that end up deciding a presidential election there's a case to be made for centrist Dems unfortunately

I'm of the belief Trump is beatable regardless of who the Dem nominee is but I worry about Warren in PA, WI, and MI. I worry about Biden pretty much everywhere else...

Like is said before Bolivia is more complicated than many make it out to be.

It seems some think that since people took issue with Evo's power grab, that automatically means they support the right wing's power grab. Taking a side on what is happening in Bolivia is just picking which destruction of democracy you are more comfortable with.

People should really start quoting these liberals they are calling out.

Kentucky and Lousiana proved that increasing the turnout of our voters is the winning play. African American turnout in Kentucky and Lousiana was critical.

I tend to think turnout will increase in 2020 (black, young, and overall) in states that matter with either Biden or Warren, which is why I'm not overly concerned with either (and probably overly optimistic on Dems chances)

You could argue that turnout would increase more so with Warren and I wouldn't disagree. The only concern I have on her is how the politics of M4A plays out in the Midwest.

IMO, all Warren has to do to alleviate that fear is to say she will allow citizens to keep their private insurance and is starting on a path towards a public option that will eventually be available to all citizens (something that also has a more realistic chance of passing the senate)
