I have no doubt that Democratic Party, rank and file, loyal voters care about electability. I also have no doubt that the DNC and its donors oppose socialist primary candidates not because they fear those socialists will lose a general election but because they may win general elections.

Kentucky votes red because of white supremacy. As does most of Appalachia. States like Kentucky and WV don't have major metros of overcome all the regressive white voters, where as Pennsylvania does.

I mean the state is white as **** yet one of the biggest concern to white Kentucky voters is undocumented immigration. Let that sink in, people in Kentucky are worried about undocumented Mexican immigrants. :lol

They hate Mitch but he is there guy so they keep voting him in.

For a Dem to win in those areas will take a incompetent Republican opponent, and someone that is rather centrist, be a white guy.

They don't think the Dems turned their back on them beacause they became neoliberals, they think the Dems turn their back on them because they committed to a civil rights for minority platform.

These people vote Republican because they get more utility out of protecting the spot on the racial hierarchy, than they do economic security.

Blaming it on class just lets a ton of ******* racist white people off the hook.

Chris Murphy like, Trump fumbled the bag on my coup.

A sitting US senator just admitted that the US regularly does could but Trump is a bad President because he is bad at coups.

He seems like a Hail Mary for the republicans putting him in Wisconsin where the margins will be thin compared to PA tells you they want him to be a spoiler.

Seems it is coming together.

A month ago people were saying he wouldn't appear on any ballots. This seems like the candidate no one will take seriously until it's too late.

Constantly defending Trump and supporting GOP pedophiles is one bad but at least it was consistent. This new “Kanye is a viable 2020 Presidential Candidate” bit is a really bizarre hill to die on.

What is there to take seriously about his candidacy now or “when it’s too late”?

The fact that him being on a ballot could impact the result of the election. It could make a pretty significant difference in tight races.

Who in Wisconsin is going to look at the ballot and say, “yeah, Kanye West is our guy”? Then ask yourself are there that many of those type of idiots to make a difference. Maybe I’m being naive, but I don’t see it.

probably not.... but you never know

plenty of both sides are the same idiots out there and i assume that sentiment will only grow from now until election time

I believe it won't but

I'm not ruling anything out when it comes to idiots and America

I mean he got the 2,000 required signatures, so I'd imagine at least that many people.

I think it is safe to say that ignoring the potential impact of Kanye on the ballot in close races is a bit naive.
