In regards to colors and looks. This is a world wide problem ....

White = Good
Black = Bad

In the Caribbean and Latin America if you're white somehow you're superior to blacks or the "short chaparros"

Thats why you see White Mexicans talking down on brown mexicans. Argentinian are also racist AF same for Colombians and so on.

DR, PR, Cuba, etc .. if you're lighter you're always looking down on people of color.

Dude, you’re arguing that Latinos who think they’re white are part of “whiteness”. I’m saying their lack of information is pushing them towards that false sense. Latino “whiteness” is a byproduct of the lack of basic history education.

The end
Well I didn’t even mention Latinos once so I’m not sure where you got that from. But proximity to whiteness is absolutely an issue amongst Latino voting blocs that we’re seeing in Florida. And clinging to whiteness promulgates what? Anti-blackness. I didn’t even mention Latinos, but colorism and anti-blackness is a huge issue in Latin America since you brought us to this point. You seem like you’re a bit wired or something though so I’ll save us both the back and forth from here on.

gettin weird.

That mostly comes down to how many see themselves mostly in their own countries. If they were lighter skinned their they saw themselves as superior to their darker skinned neighbors. I remember taking a Caribbean history class and we had a guest lecturer and she was talkingto us about her personal experience with this and her book about it. She was basically black and had family from and in Nicaragua.

I mean a prime example of it is the DR and Haiti and how that functions. Share an island, both countries are extremely poor, but one has a superiority complex over the other.
I know all I did was scratch the surface. Didn’t really want to get into colorism, “lower” working class, and lightskined push for dominance. Not today, not until Biden wins

This is damn near every single country in the world due to colonialism.

This really all it is ...Cats like osh kosh bosh osh kosh bosh keep trying get deep dive takes off bout “LatinX” or whatever random bs when all it is is a split in principles with this group :lol:

The Florida Hispanics only hear “socialism”, Texas ones really believe they part of the good ole boy Texas culture and vote as such, while anything west of that worried bout their ppls coming in from Mexico/ Central America and being disrespected as thugs and criminals by Republicans...Plus a lot of west coast Hispanics come from Cali where they used to voting blue and bring that wit em when they move around to the neighboring states

yeah I already said that Bidens weakness with Hispanics hasn't translated to the south west.

but if democrats want to win the senate and prevent permanat minoryity rule, you need to win those voters.

Biden won Rio Grande Valley counties by 7, where obama and clinton won them by 30+

Trump seems to be connecting with Latino voters like never before. You can't just brush that away.

What they also need is political Flava Flavs.

Republicans will give the wealthy elite millions and Black folks a couple of dollars, but they will let the world know about that dollar so much and so loudly that nobody will ask where the rest of the money went.

Democrats need to stop being shy and apologetic about what they do (or did) for minorities. Put down the numbers and translate them in dollars. When Republicans call that "handouts," unapologetically reply that it's been earned, and they should do it every time they're in a position to broadcast that message.
Yea Democratic policies benefit the Black community more...Republicans been trying to roll anything that would be good for us back or keep it off the table

Like you said the problem is Dems don’t put a specific name to **** like “platinum plan” , but it looks like that’s what alotta cats want...Some just wanna feel like they being spoken directly or addressed, ain’t even bout the details

Joe Biden man ....

Like I seriously believe he won't make it all 4 years.

Joe Biden will have more POTUS votes than anyone ever and will win the popular vote by - 4 million?

3 million more people voted for Trump than in 2016. the question is why

is it because "Joe Biden" or because they like what Trump is offering? i suspect it's the latter
