what's your counter to the argument that they are ALL racists but one party is just more upfront with it?

“more upfront”

america is a racist country, but I’ve seen my people have actually power in 1 party vs blatant racism

once Biden wins and you obviously have to focus heavily on the BS that will come between now and Biden actually getting sworn in

the party has to heavily heavily HEAVILY get going on 2022
Word.

You gotta be ready to protect yourself. In NYC, the Police have slowed down on arrests over the past year, and I expect it to get even worse nationwide under Biden's administration, especially with Police reform on the table.

What are the projections?

Idk about georgia. But with biden taking wisconsin. All he needs is michigan, which he's leading by 50k and nevada, who's is mostly vealgas and reno, which he's up, and he's #46.
Georgia has the main Atalanta area to count before it’s over. Unless there’s a HUGE unforeseen red swing then his 88k (trump) lead won’t hold up. Michigan pretty much the same but Biden is already up

Sounds like there are 200K votes left to count in largely democrat areas that were mail in ballots. There is a real chance that the remaining votes flip georgia to biden.

The senate is the real prize. If Dems can't flip the Senate, and it's looking more and more like they won't be able to, then it will be business as usual irrespective of who is in the White House. McConnell is gonna ensure Biden is a lame duck prez if Agent Orange loses.

Minority rule is gonna continue to bleed us slowly.

...

there is another election in 2 years

americans will have to decide what they will continue to put up with/from with mitch and co

republicans will also have the internal power struggles of trump trying to retain power and those seeking to gain power

What I'm saying is it's frustrating often seeing Dems, even the most progressive ones, always on the backfoot and being defensive when asked about policies that in large part would benefit most of the electorate who in turn would agree with them out of fear over how the GOP will portray them.

Who gives a **** at this point when they've leaned in wholeheartedly into being an American fascist party that have proven to despise representative Democracy and most of the population.

Gotta explain and break down those policies in laymans terms, dumb it down if you have to word to Lupe , for voters.

At least instead of being shy and tepid about it for fear of being labeled whatever buzzword the GOP focus groups prefer that day. It would take away a lot of the potency of that rw framing challenging it head on instead of running away from it out of fear imo.

That kind of tactic is what created one of the most surreal images I've seen in American politics earlier this cycle when deep red MAGA's gave a standing ovation to a supposed 'radical' Democratic senator after actually learning about those policies first hand in plain terms for what they really are.

Not for the giant scary boogeyman the GOP has built up over time out of fear for the appeal that many of those policies would have on their voters.

i hear you. the problem with middle america's electorate is that they're so damn afraid of the term "socialism" and anything even remotely associated with it. on a surface level, Dems have to back pedal from how they feel towards any issue as soon as the right characterizes their position as "socialist." this wins over those moderate-left voters but then ostracizes their more progressive base. it's almost damned if you do, damned if you dont

These senate races though. How? Did Trump really rile up his base enough to get THAT many people to the polls? This is, and I use this word in a very literal sense, unbelievable.

I really dont believe some of these numbers.

2018 was an anomaly. Dems generally don't show up to midterms so I don't have high hopes for flipping seats in 2022 with a Dem president

Not believing some of the numbers seems to be common on both sides

Biden is going to win this thing. Now what Black people need to prepare for, is even more white domestic terrorism. Those of you who fall easily for white women, I am talking to Black men, be very careful out there, especially in places outside of LA and NYC those that do not have a more liberal lean.
Bro you must not know how accepted biracial love is in the south and midwest
Where you think all those biracial basketball players at Duke and North Carolina come from :emoji_basketball_player:
