That is why I kept my butt outta there. It's like a different world in the Marina and granted most who live there are probably not even from the Bay Area. The only things I like over there is the lack of crazy homeless people and the yoga pants you'll see throughout the day.

The cost of living in Texas is second to none. My fiance and I closed on a lakeside 5 year-old 2 story 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house over the summer for about 240k. I honestly don't think I could manage in another state. I was born and raised in Texas so I honestly don't have any other experiences to compare it to.

Another reason why I am jaded to live in the Bay Area. $240K for a house?!!! Our 800 sqf condo my wife and I have with HOA is double that price and our building is a dump.

Not sure if joking or not, but black men dating white women isn’t some widely accepted thing in the south. Certainly have to move cautious in certain areas if you’re about that life outside of the larger cities.

I'll have to lookup that interview. I thought folks were all already doing latina/latino, or just latin, but also most group words in Spanish tend to be on the masculine side as a part of the language.
