I’ll try again... what happens if a future presidential election ends up in a legitimate 269-269 electoral college tie, then goes to the House of Representatives and ends up in a 25-25 tie? I’m asking because I’m interested in the law and can’t find the answer anywhere else, not because I think that will happen this year.
The constitution says this: “...and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President.” I can’t find an interpretation of this anywhere. Does it mean the five states with the highest number of representatives?

Thing is the only people crying foul is Fox News. Everyone else, including judges and government officials, are calling this a joke. The narrative that there’s discussion left to be had is false. I get that “stop da count!” Are in headlines but not for legitimate reason. Trump has lost EVERY court case
This BS isn’t new with the Trump team. Claims with nothing to come out of it. Emails, Covid hoax, laptop, voter fraud, taking away healthcare, caravans of killers, suburban takeovers, disbanding of all police, etc. this is all par for the course
