***Official Political Discussion Thread***

Hopefully he calls Ted Cruz’s wife ugly again.

Maybe I've watched too much television, but it seems like he's afraid of not being president anymore. Who holds his debts? And there's no way he isn't going to go scorched earth in the next 7 weeks. They're going to have to throw him in a bunker to keep him off twitter.

Wow this document :wow:
"Email communications have been identified indicating additional criminal activity"
-Secret lobbying scheme in violation of the Lobbying Disclosure Act
-Bribery conspiracy

I could be reading this wrong but it looks like there are at least 4 individuals involved in the bribery conspiracy. The client, 2 attorneys and someone who is not an attorney.

The emails "do not show any direct payment", only that there was an expectance that someone would assist in getting a pardon due to the target's "past substantial campaign contributions" and "future substantial political contributions"

It was all good when Conservatives weren't the target of his ire.

It was all good when he came down the elevator and he attacked Mexicans.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I don't feel a tiny bit sorry for any of these Republicans who are now crying about Trump's attacks. In fact, I'm salting my popcorn with their tears.

So many options. I feel like it's Guiliani, but that's just the low-hanging obvious guess.

Bill Barr must've signed off on this, no? Between this and the statement about no election fraud, you see why these guys learn to survive for a long time. No loyalty to any party or individual or principle, just to yourself and your political fortunes.

Manafort. I think he's the one who'll take the fall, then die.

Based on Barr's track record, yes he would have signed off on this. He's typically very involved in these type of high profile investigations.
This would also mean that Barr decided to keep it secret during the election, as the document is from back in August.

Before I even read the document, Giuliani was also the first person I thought of but perhaps I can pick up some clues from the document to narrow down our list of potential suspects.

hmmm. Look for any mentions of the suspect trying to seduce 16-year-old girls, mistaking landscaping companies for luxury hotels, or sweating hair dye down his face, all on national TV.

Rudy is really having the worst 2020 of all and we still have a whole month left.

edit: Elliot Broidy is the other name being thrown around.
