Depending on how Biden's administration does, Trumpism either slowly dies out or it grows stronger. The fabric of this democracy won't be able to stand another round of this.

my hunch is the Senate will try to run out the clock before having to take any sort of stand on impeachment

Cowards, impeachment and removing him from office would guarantee he can't run ever again and his stranglehold over the party would diminish greatly over time as a result.

Doesn’t really matter if he can’t run again. His campaign/administration was just a vessel for white supremacy in the first place. Trumpism is just a repackaging of the ideals that the GOP had been dog whistling all along. White supremacy does not die with the ousting of Donald Trump.

Anything is possible but he destroyed that party. I think we’ll be in a very different world in 2-3 years. I think he will face federal and state charges. I think what’s allowed to be posted on the internet will be drastically different. We saw how many members that were opposing did a 180 after the terrorist. you cant just not do anything and just hope it goes away

like with fox news, then facebook and now OANN and that other one.. we see the impact these types of organizations have globally and when dealt with, countries are better off
