Ohio State will get theirs in September.
Illinois gave this game away, not saying they would win but jesus christ, turnign the ball over inside your red zone 2 outta 3 series and that 3rd series was a dumb@*!+ throw for int.
You must mean that the Trojans took the game away. Those were two fundamentally sound forced fumbles. Maiava with the punch and Thomas with the strip.
I guess I gave Illinois too much credit, but they were outplayed from the start. I have said it many times before, the Illinois Illini did not deserve a BCSbid. I still don't know how a putrid confrence lke the Big Ten received two BCS bid's. Oh yeah, a "traditional matchup". I would havepreferred Mizzou, but like Florida they were left out because of politics
I didn't see anything special in Illinois, Mendenhall was getting destroyed everytime he would try to put a block on one of our LB's. He didn'treally do anything aside from the broken play when he took it to the house.
I hope Maualuga comes back for his Senior year, but after the monster game that he had (3 sacks, 1 Int) I highly doubt he will be back. Best LB in the Nation, yeah I said it.
I liked what I saw in Joe McKnight, it will be interesting to see the revamped offense next season. Hopefully the WR's step up since they wre the biggestweakness this season. Inexperience will not be an excuse next year.
And the respond to Iron Man from the 2nd page, i dont think thats a misconception at all. The UCLA game last year was the same , we couldnt stop the scramble and thats why we lost.
We did not lose to UCLA because of Cowan's scrambling. We lost that game becuase too many bonehead mistakes were made, and give credit wherecredit is due, DeWayne Walker devised a brilliant defensive game plan and held us to 9 points.
@ Hershel Dennis getting a Touchdown. this+##@$+ was OJ's back up i wonder if he is going to apply for a 7th year.
This is coming from a UCLA fan, ya'll are still waiting for Ben Olson to tap into his potential when he is the modern day Chris Weinke, without the "talent".

They're a damn good football team, beat Ohio St. in the horseshoe, yet their the 14 point underdogs against an overrated Trojans team that lost to Stanford?I see the Illini proving all doubters wrong, winning comfortably. 45-24 Illinois.
The Illini are about to Slaughter these overrated%%!# trojans. Boy, i'm ready to see this%%!# kickin.
