Don’t sleep on Mayfield or Rosen all I’m gonna say. Ive seen both those guys carve up defenses with NFL type throws.

I'd be fine with the 49ers taking nothing but line picks on both sides of the ball for the rest of the draft.

I really don’t understand the question??
A tackles job in pass protection set the Width Of the pocket. Guards job to set the depth in the pocket. So they have to work as a cohesive unit when it comes to that and be on same page in the ground game. They have to win their individual battles throughout the game. But they’re defintely separate entitys when it comes to projecting them as Pros.

Joe Staley is a All-Pro Left tackle and he’s had some trash play along side him through the years.

I was about to say this. Staley had some of the worst guards in the NFL this last couple years and still managed to rise above.

I get that its not a sexy pick, but eventually Staley is going to retire and when he does, it benefits us to have an immediate replacement so Jimmy G isnt getting the Russell Wilson treatment.

And if we can trade Brown for a third or something and select an edge or a guard then I think we did pretty well at shoring up the line this year.

I implore everybody to watch a Notre Dame game last year and see some of the holes Josh Adams was able to run through and the QB Wimbush.

I said two days ago I’d be bummed about them taking McGlinchey even though he’s best Tackle
Prospect by a long shot. And that was because I thought Trent Brown was gonna finally slim down and show some resolve and determination but I was wrong.

It’s not exciting like watching RB/ WR or Linebackers tape. But just watch how sound this guy is and how he gets to reach blocks in the ground game.

One of his best games was against Bradley Chubb.

Hell last year he would have been a 1st rounder had he entered.

Roquan would have been nice, but if McGlinchey is really as much of a stud as he's said to be - I think he will prove to be the better decision for the team.

We' re going to stay in games/win with the offense this year. When it's a crucial game against the Rams on 3rd down and they are sending the house, we'll all be thankful for a pick like this.

Give Jimmy his space to slice the D up, Give Mckinnon holes to explode through and take it to the house.

Excited for day 2

49ers are expecting a 4th or 5th in an exchange for Trent Brown.

There was a rumored deal with Denver Shane Ray and 40th overall for Trent Brown and 70th overall.
Looks like just a rumor.

A LOT of impact players at positions of need on that list. Let's go!! :nthat::nthat:

Lynch should call the Broncos about Shane Ray. They've got a surplus of edge rushers now. I'd do Shane Ray for Trent Brown straight up.
