What happened to running the ball with Mostert to begin the game and end the game? Kyle got too pass happy when running the ball was our strength and defending the run was their weakness. What a waste of the season.

ready for your combine breakdown and draft analysis
Didnt wanna have to see it for at least another week tbh.

I’ve typed so much stuff and deleted in the last hour. Too much to unpack and, honestly, it’s just going to make me irritable and I don’t wanna be that way. I know a lot of y’all will probably make mentions of the same thing sim thinking so I’ll leave it to y’all.

The west is not enough. The nfc is not enough. Faithful then. Faithful now. Faithful always. Bang bang niner gang.

Our passing game needs to improve... Way to dependent on YAC

Not sure if Jimmy, Kyle or the WRs are the problem

I didn't see any masterful play-calling either after getting up by 10. It's like we quit the creativity and went to "protecting the lead" mode
We stopped running the ball to set up the pass. Where was Deebo on the sweeps and Mostert hittin those running lanes?

Shanahan flat out blew it cause he was trying to force the pass instead, trying to make Jimmy G the hero.

In turn it put more pressure on our defense to stop them.

It's almost like the moment got too big for Kyle and Jimmy

I agree with you on all points. We needed way more downfield explosive plays.

I just don't know who to fault. Did Kyle not trust Jimmy? Or did he not trust the OL? Emmanuel Sanders consistently gets open downfield, so I don't think you can completely blame the WRs.

Gotta find a CB next to Sherman and a WR2. Deebo has taken that WR1 position after today’s game. Hurd should be back. Like someone said we can fall back like the Rams. Now that we contenders we gotta stay contenders.

I really think nfl should discuss that last PI on the defense.
Kelce barely manage to turn his head. And ball looked under thrown.
That call Should have been a no call.

What kills me the most... QBs have a tendency of doing this but if you need 5-7 yds on a 3rd down, why in the world are you throwing a 2yd slant with the CB draped all over the WR... Are we praying the CB somehow falls or something???

Seen Jimmy do this plenty of times :smh:

We need shutdown corners on both sides so Sherman can transition to safety like Lott and both Woodson's successfully did late in their careers.

Kwon was nonexistent today. He needs a full season.

Sherman, Tartt at safety. Get 2 shutdown corners who have speed.

Jimmie Ward not gonna cut it, as much as I like his grit

Next season, Kittle and Deebo need to get 8-10 targets a game each. Period.

Equally on Kyle and Jimmy imo

Pornstar has to execute and he choked. But Kyle never put him in position to succeed in the 4th

Emmanuel Sanders back next year? I think not. Breida, McKinnon, Goodwin, Pettis, and Jimmy Ward will be gone also. And honestly, I can see the FO going with Greenlaw and releasing Kwon.

I've been thinking about that. Dre Greenlaw is a starter in this league. I love Kwon, but this might be a necessary business decision.

In regards to Emmanuel, they gave up a third-round pick for him, so who knows. But this WR draft class looks like the 2014 one. Loaded doesn't do it justice.

What kills me is Kyle not even trying to disguise the pass plays in the end. Straight out of the shotgun and letting that KC pass rush pin their ears knowing Jimmy G ain’t mobile enough to hurt them or buy time. There was enough time and timeouts to run the ball and call play action. Smh
exactly. That last possession when KC took the lead was terrible. You get to the 50 with 3 timeouts plenty of time and not one run or play action just straight pass plays.

Forgot to mention that Wishnowski was ***. I defended that pick, but it's not looking great right now.
