No hate toward Jimmy at all. He’s an average at best qb. But you don’t trade two future first round picks to let an average at best qb go out there and do average at best things while constantly wondering if you can depend on him to play or not.

Jimmy had a fair shake to keep this job a bit longer. Hell Kyle wants to delay the inevitable. But between unreliable play and getting hurt AGAIN, at some point it’s just repetitive. Case in point that last interception. And I’ve defended Jimmy for a while on here.

Hell if he wasn’t so injury prone and didn’t get hurt last season in Seattle they likely make they playoffs at 8-8 or 9-7 last year as a lower seeded team and they likely don’t trade up to draft Trey. Maybe they still go qb with their pick, but they don’t trade up to do so.

Maybe they trot him out in Chicago next Sunday and hope for the best. But at some point this season if healthy, Trey needs to start the rest of the season. I rather they be a below average team with upside under Trey over being a below average team with no direction under Jimmy.
