Not getting off the field on key 3rd downs doesn't show up in the box score. We've struggled there. They gave up nearly 20 completions in a row. They've been that bad, bruh.

Regardless of whatever happens today, the defense is going to click and gel as the season progresses.

As for Purdy. He’s facing adversity. It was inevitably going to happen. The Mr. Irrelevant feel good story is over. He’s going to be expected to produce regardless of where he was drafted with a win now team. He’s capable of it. But that bye is coming at an ideal team.
