I think the fact that we are stacked makes the idea of putting Trey in there even more exciting. He could take us to the next level. And I am not one of those people who subscribe to the idea that sitting and learning is better than playing.
Especially when the guy you’re sitting behind has bad flaws.

Jimmy:
Lacks deep ball accuracy
Stares down receivers
Folds when the pocket collapses
Doesn’t spread the ball around
Brainless picks every other game

His saving grace is his win/loss ratio to casuals, but the real fans know it was more YAC and PA off a stellar run game more so than his throwing ability. I don’t want Lance adopting any of Jimmy’s bad tendencies. I was definitely on the trade jimmy train.

If you can't consistently throw for 300 plus yards and a couple TDs a game with the offensive weapons the 49ers have, and you can't handle pocket pressure....

Then you not meeting the standards of a San Francisco 49er championship quarterback.

That's Jimmy G, he's had damm near 4 plus years to prove himself and he ain't it.

The best he can be in this organization is backup QB imo.

The sooner Lance starts the better off the 49ers are so Lance can establish himself as the leader of that QB group so there is no question among the rest of the team as to whose lead everyone should follow.

Lance is more than ready imo. Dude looks mature beyond his years and we all know he aint finna go out and start dating porn stars

Im on board for Trey, but not week 1. Im excited to have him but Im not gonna throw a rook in there in the early part of the season. Only way he sees the field is if Jimmy stinks it up or gets injured.

agreed, going to give it a couple of weeks before he takes over.

I don’t mind Jimmy dating a porn star. I actually applaud his confidence and ability to not give a ****. Still, it’s Trey Week 1.

My problem is, I don’t want to possibly drop 3 or 4 games if Jimmy struggles just to make the transition we’ve all been waiting for. Our division has little to no margin for error, especially at QB. We’re the only squad that doesn’t have a definitive guy at the helm this year and I think that’s going to kill our playoff aspirations.

Yall want Trey starting after a few days of TRAINING CAMP, against the second team Def. Probably doesnt even know the playbook yet.

Y’all fan base is very loyal and dedicated. Giants fan showed out this series.

Damn well now it makes sense why they haven’t been trying to sign Sherman to a cheap deal to come back at CB or try safety, dude has been crazy and suicidal for almost a year straight now it’s all just been kept under wraps until the July arrest

Where you getting this info from?

I hope he gets the help he needs. I wonder what led him to begin that path. Maybe his injury last year was a trigger?

Sherm has a sever case of CTE. He was always kinda borderline nut case. Always on edge. My people in Seattle believes that he swallows and smokes adderall (meth). Which will explain someone being able to drink 750ml of liqour. He needs help

I thought him being back in Cali would be a good thing but clearly his life is still in Washington. Doesn’t help that the state has gun laws that allowed him to rack up on weapons, at least they got a order to take them away from him. Could have had another situation like that dude from the Chiefs.

:nerd:

Trey Lance’s first throw of 11 on 11s was a 50 yard bomb to Travis Benjamin that sailed just over a fully extended Dontae Johnson who had good coverage on the play Lance’s pocket poise was on full display as well, sidestepping some pressure before pulling the trigger downfield
