That imo is his most powerful traitJimmy was a class act.
While I agree with most of your comment, my opinion is that once he got to the Super Bowl it is now fair game to expect him to finish the job and play at that Young or Montana like level.Man, watching Jimmy G's press conference definitely hit different.
As much as we'll criticize him for his shortfalls, I'll always be thankful for what he did for us. We set our expectations for him (rightfully so) as our next Montana or Young. But to hold him to that high of a standard knowing he had some deficiencies in some areas was unfair to him. It was so frustrating to be a 49er fan before he came and the fact that he brought us back to the super bowl and then the NFC championship, I'll be grateful for that.
He gave me hope to be a 49er fan again. I hope he finds success where ever he goes.
