Activate Verrett for Week 8 to shore up that other corner spot.

Then Lynch needs to make two more key trades by next Tuesday if 49ers are really serious about a legitimate shot at winning the Super Bowl this year:

1. Send Wilson Jr. and McGlinchey to the Saints for Ryan Ramczyk, and...

2. Trade Jimmy FG to Tampa Bay for the GOAT

Boom.

With Mitchell coming back, I can see them trying to get a extra pick

Sone folks aren't old enough to know who Lowell Cohn is, but Grant is just like his dad and I have the utmost respect for Lowell's work throughout the decades so it ain't a shock to me that Grant knows what he's talkin about most of the time. After all, Lowell personally knew Bill Walsh and all the key figures during the 49ers heyday in the 80s and 90s.

They both tell it like it is and as journalists they aren't afraid to tell the truth even if the truth ain't P.C. or the popular opinion. Yet they're man enough to admit when they're wrong.

Gotta respect those types of people imo.

Have some class and pls stop acting like an entitled Gen Z'r will ya

And get it right. It's Cohn, not Kohn.

Grant Cohn is a weasel thats trying to piggyback off his fathers success but instead tries to get under players/coaches skin for clicks. He's what you call a TikTok reporter. Nothing like his dad who was at least a professional. If you want a reporter to "tell it like it is" Kawakami is pretty good at that, Damon Bruce if you listen to the radio. I dont know how anyone takes this guy seriously

Lol, you just showed a 5 min video in which Cohn's guest talked for 4:50 of it.

Cohn calls it like it is, whether anyone likes it or not. Personally, those type of people I tend to surround myself with. No beating around the bush, none of that passive aggressive type stuff

Grant got more balls in the press room than any other "reporter" LOL when asking questions to the players and coaches cause he ain't afraid to ask the real questions the fans wanna ask.

Lowell was a columnist. He was a writer cause guess what back then they didn't have youtube and social media otherwise Lowell would've been all over Twitter too. Grant ain't no writer so there's no comparing him to his father as a "reporter" in that regard.

Calling him a tik tok reporter is shortsighted at best cause Grant def ain't tryna be like his dad nor piggyback off his dad's success.. What people appreciate about him most is he's like Lowell in that Lowell wasn't afraid to challenge the status quo and ruffle the feathers of popular opinion.

And if he were as P.C. as Kawakami, heck he'd probably be working for the newspaper too. But unlike Kawakami, Grant ain't a writer. I been reading Kawakami going back to the 90s when he was with the L A. Times covering the Lakers as their beat writer. Grant has his own flavor.

i know you like the "good old days" but if you think grant cone is a good journalist i have to just laugh at that

your lopsided trades are pretty bad but this takes the cake.

grant cone is a terrible journalist. hes a trolling attention ***** and the worst example of sports journalism.

no better than any random youtuber using the "loudmouth critic" shtick

Grant Cohn deserves to be violated on site for that Javon Kinlaw stunt.

And Kinlaw may very well be an underachieving injury prone bust. That’s not the topic here.

Like be critical of underperforming players. You don’t gotta kiss *** and say what you gotta say. That comes with the territory as a professional athlete playing in a results driven league.

But to provoke and antagonize someone and to talk about thinking of a potential payday. Yeah F that guy. I don’t care who his dad is.

I watch Grant. I think he’s entertaining.

But I won’t die on a hill for him. He too is a public figure so he’s also opened to be criticized to the same extent he criticizes players and coaches.

Today is Jimmy's Super Bowl

Option #1: If he has another game looking like a rookie with multiple turnovers and the 49ers lose, he should be traded before the Nov. 1 deadline but knowing the 9ers they love them some porn star action every Sunday so they'll keep him instead of trade him lol

Option #2: If he plays mistake-free football and the 49ers win, he survives the cut and will stay a 49er for the remainder of the season thereby keeping the 9ers chances of winning a SB at slim to none 😞

In other words, we're probably still screwed either way.

LFG!!

how many super bowls jimmy have a season?!

enough to catch TB12 in one season

sometimes you have to tear someone down to build them back up.. brosizzle is just trynna get the best out of jimmy

this week will be jimmy’s chance to prove brosizzle right. it is his superbowl and his moment to vindicate himself.. just like it was last week, and just like it will be the week after the bye

i appreciate the perspective that every week is a new opportunity to have amnesia and start fresh, no matter how many times you’ve disappointed and **** the bed

Maybe if Jimmy G put the kind of pressure on himself to perform every game like it was his own personal SB, he'd get past his 4th quarter rookie jitters, stay calm under pressure for all 60 min so he can scan and read the defense like a clutch QB would, and finally lead his team to key victories.
