Thank you LilJRDN for you input. I kind of figured they were the replicas, because im aware that authentics or "techfits" come with the ventilation holes on the sides well atleast for barca and Dc united kits. I guess my question was more so if they were genuine officially licensed kits whether it being replicas. Interesting tid bit about the folded patches, thanks for pointing that out, now i got something else i can use to help me determine jerseys in ebay. Those jerseys were indeed from Ebay but they werent listed as 9.99 nor had a buy it now at 39.99. They had a starting bid of 19.99 (not that much better) but no buy it now option which is why it struck my interest. I did ask the seller for multiple pictures, but he only responded with asking for my email but never sent the pictures. Either way, since i had two people tell me that the Third kit seemed fishy i didnt pull the trigger on that one, But since i had two people mention that the home kit looked alright, one being zachATTACK, i decided to take the risk and won the auction at $33. As soon as i get the kit in, ill post up pictures of all the patches and other items that could help determine if its a genuine jersey. Appreciate the help so far.Originally Posted by LilJRDN
Josh4523 - They look like replicas to me. I've noticed that many, if not all, replicas have that folded "LFP" patch. Let me explain, if you pay close attention to the LFP patch on the sleeve, it goes with the fold on the sleeve where as the authentic jerseys have a flat - 'non-folded' patch. More importantly, if I recall, I saw those jerseys on ebay and they were listed for 9.99 as the starting bid with a 39.99 "buy it now". No authentic jersey with authentic lettering is going to sell for $40 dollars; unless you buy it used or simply get really lucky.
If you still have doubts, go ahead and ask the seller to take close up pictures of the "authentic patch" and the "Dri-Fit" to see the stitching or have him take a picture of the inside tag (not the size tag).
