Official Soccer Jersey Thread

This year's home Arsenal kits are some of my favs in recent memory. I love the simplicity of the red torso and white sleeves, and the patch has been executed very well.

I just wish Nike's kits fit more like Puma's. Ideally for me they should fit like the Nike Pro Combat fitted t-shirts (not the compression). But I know most people wouldn't go for that.

I think Nike has the most consistent fitting system with their jerseys.

Adidas kits always fit different which bugs me & Puma is the same.

But yes, I agree...this years Arsenal home was done so right, reason I have 4 of them

May be true, but consistency isn't worth much to me if the shirts are consistently ill-fitting. I find that the sleeves are too long and wide, and the shirt itself is extra baggy. A medium fits around my torso but is short. A large/x-large is way too baggy.

But as I said I know most people wouldn't go for my definition of fit. They make the jerseys for fans of all shapes and sizes and will inevitably cater to people in "average" shape.

The shorts, I believe, are basically impossible to find. The shorts for that kit were navy/teal, so the teal/navy ones look to be only obtainable as a player issue. Keep an eye open on eBay and you might get lucky.

what is the correct material for this patch? Is it supposed to be rubber or that felt material?
