Waiting for IPO
Me. I just started doing due diligence on some names this week.I made some money off quantum, all the news says the bubble is about to pop. Is anyone on this for the long haul?

I'm also doing some work on power. This whole arms race for technology is and has always been power dependent.
I'm sure I've mentioned before but every year I fully allocate my cash portion of my bonus to my 401k. I still think you should have index exposure as an offset to all the single name trading.
My 401k is traditional, I do a backdoor Roth though. As in a backdoor Roth 401k contribution?
Edit:
Landed that job with the ESPP question I had for you before. So ESPP and 14% 401k match and working less hours and large bonus structure. I start on the 27th and looking forward to it.
Thats great advice. Over 80% of my portfolio is in a etfMe. I just started doing due diligence on some names this week.

I put it all in the 401k. Have done this every year. For me the thought process is that I want to get as much money in the market as early as possible. Time in the market is more important than anything. Market goes up 70% of the time, 86% of the time in non recessionary periods.Thats great advice. Over 80% of my portfolio is in a etf
Would you say for every lump sum ,you’d take some of that money and throw it into the 401k?

A percentage of the firm’s profits as represented by the number of compensation points each equity partner gets. Compensation points each equity partner gets goes up or down based on individual performance snd contribution to the profitability of the firm and total base compensation is calculated by multiplying the number of compensation points by the value of each compensation point. Bonuses are in addition to the compensation points. Since I work at an Am Law 100 firm my relative ownership percentage in the firm is small but that small piece is pretty valuable. I’m technically an owner of a business so I make quarterly tax payment to the IRS and I pay for my own benefits. My 401K elections are taken out but the firm also does a mandatory/additional 401K elections from my check from June until December of every year to make sure partners don’t retire broke. I also participate in a separate firm sponsored cash balance plan where a certain percentage of my check is taken and set aside that is separate from my 401K but it can be invested under the same or different invest strategy as my 401Kaepps20 how is your payment as a partner? Profit/Rev sharing as well?
Y'all hiring?
Man I’m broke compared to y’all
I ****** up in undergrad too much so I did it to myself.
You and so many others on NT are doing extraordinary. I went into law because a NTer named Audikid told me I could do it. NT is my one outside work thing that I have so work has effectively been my life. I’m not proud of it but it’s something I’m good at but money isn’t what drives me. I just want to help others with my resources and be the best person I can be. Please don’t compare yourself to me because in many ways seeing NTers do well and run their individual races makes me very happy.Man I’m broke compared to y’all

I can’t stress enough how this world is all about connections. Find mentors, be as intellectually curious as possible and a good human - you’ll be fine.

Ain't this the truth.
I'm sitting here counting my state government paycheck/pennies and dudes talmbout tiered profit sharing and compensation plans...lol
Truthfully though, I'm happy for folks in here. I've been debating whether to go back to school for law (partly for financial reasons) and this kind of talk is somewhat motivating.
