and is this rise fake? It’s a technical bear market bounce. I wouldn’t trust it. Buying on Monday was one thing. Buying a week later is much more risky.

One of Dalio’s only good calls in the past few years was gold. With all the money printing I don’t see how gold will not rocket well past all time highs. I’ve been buying since 2018, now looking to increase my allocation.
I think we see a dip when the market drops again to new lows from forced liquidations - that will be a great buying op.

If only all this Fed money goes directly to the pockets of american citizens. We will actually have a soft landing for the stockmarket and economy to correct itself. That Andrew Yang Freedom Dividend needs to be in place asap. Chamath is correct as well in that last CNBC interview. It's really simple, money for the people, or money for corporations.

Yep actual medal > paper. I made the mistake of buying silver many years ago which hasn’t had the movement gold has but is more practical for day to day purchases if the system collapsed.

Any 1oz gold is good. I would say shop around online or check local coin shop.

For those HODLing physical Gold...do you keep it at the bank's safe deposit box or an in-home safe or like John Wick?

I keep mine in a safe at home . But the safe is hidden in the floor like jgl’s in looper.
I also get my gold in 1 once bars from a jewelry shop in l.a. . I used to do silver and gold coins but the 1 once bars are better imho

The previous owner of the house we bought had a built in safe in the floor, but died and didn’t tell his children the combo so they were never able to open it. I need to get a locksmith to crack it open one of these days.
