***Official Tattoo Thread: Inked-4-Life Vol.2***

I actualy dont like the wind bars behind it. It doesn tfit his chest and the shape is too similar to the bear head.

Theres something a bit off with the bears face though, im thinking the eyes. In any case, composition is meh, drawing is meh, background is totally unecessary.

Has anyone ever felt this way too?

I want a Tat, but I can't really describe what I want.

My man dissecting it down! Haha. I get what you are saying though. It definitely isn't the size of his chest which I hate. I never understood why some Japanese tattoos have that chest part to the sleeve and only make it so big where it doesn't' cover his chest as a whole. I mean it could be that his chest isn't the right size but some don't even try to cover it properly.

Like this could have gone a little farther out.

Haha I get what you mean.

The bear head is too big for such small wind bars he put, thad why I think he coudve left it out. Thats Mike Rubendall's work up there? Those chest panels coudve been "fuller" but still looks good.

I have no clue who's work it is. I just googled Japanese chest tattoos.

I like when it covers the whole chest and around the nipple. Just looks better.

Haha, pretty sure its Rubendall's work. I recognize the one with the birds. Mine doesnt cover my whole chest, I have a panel like the one you posted but fuller and more rounded.

Fortunately for me,I don't want the exact same tattoo. The breakdown was good though, thanks. Definitely something to pay attention to before it's too late.

Really?

Sena worked under the artist who did my Japanese sleeve before he got his own studio. Great artist as well.

You can pretty much just hit google for artists in your area. Then you can check the shop page, their personal page, and their instagrams for their body of work. Odds are if they do quality work in the style you want, a consult might be a good idea.

Edit:

My artist just put up a pic of Tuesday night's session, only one more to go.
thats a dope tattoo do you have a full lay out picture of it?

People without the full chest covered probably don't want to get tatted around the nipples.

Nah, not currently. I will after the last session in February. I posted the upper portion when I finished it about a year ago.

This is the upper portion

How will this look as a tattoo?

Getting this added to my leg

Beautiful statue.

Top image is the most striking but it's tough to place as a tattoo with the arm straight out like that.

Would be good if it could be modified so dudes arm was in a flexed position. Make it more compact. Gives you more options to place.
