Raptors just gotta prove it against the Rockets tomorrow and in the playoffs. They’re never going to get love just cuz we in Canada plus all they remember are the raptors playoff struggles since they don’t get regular season national tv coverage.

Another issue is TSN/Sportsnet, all they push is hockey even tho Rogers/Bell own the best team in the east this season, they barely get coverage on the main channels but would rather put curling there and put the raps on tsn587 smh. In the Atlanta game or something as soon as they won the game, it switched right over to curling, no post game interviews at all

ECF or die trying. Finals would be a bonus

Had the black jersey in my cart, I let it slide $410 cad for a jersey that should have came out 10 years ago smh. Bottle went too quick forreals

Houston is getting respect because of what the organization has done in the past ( repeat champions), Dantoni runs a run and gun offence, they have a runner up to the MVP award from last year and leading candidate for this year (although Demar and THE BROW are making a strong case), they have one of the top 10 PGs in NBA history, Oh and they're "the team" that could dethrone the Warriors. As mentioned earlier Raps have to win the East or at least beat Cleveland in the playoffs.

We shall see with this Rockets team, US will see them as a bust if they don't WIN the west or at least the Ship. Remember people look at the WEST as the power house and the east as G league tings. You need to prove them wrong then you get the respect. It's same thing in real life....

Cp3 hasnt even seen a conference finals.

And we really acting like the GOAT (arguably) didnt knock us out the playoffs? Thats like how all those great players in the 90s never got a shot at the finals cuz of Mike.

Plus you guys must be forgetting mike dipped when hakeem and co won those chips. Ya he came back for that one year but he was rusty ("#45 doesnt explode like #23").

yes CP has not, but the ROCKETS have and some of their players have...
I forgot L.B James played for the Brooklyn nets in 2014 when raps lost..... and FYI he is not the GOAT.
Still won right..

That is true and stand corrected. but then they look at history and that keeps the RAPS down.

Legacy and what has happened in the past is the past. That's just what people talk about as points of analysis but does it truly matter about what's happening RIGHT NOW. Not a damn bit. You mention losing to Brooklyn but not about how weak those Raptors TEAMS were other than Lowry and Derozan (who were also very poor in those series). When Demarre Carroll and Patrick Patterson are your third and fourth options for heavy points production like last year...that was a recipe for disaster. The Raptors clearly have never had those "sexy names" and superstars to garner that kind of respect or attention. The Spurs which were mentioned before was a really good example. They always flew under the radar but the difference with the Spurs is that they won titles. It will come for Toronto eventually.

And some of you denying the blatant disrespect the Raptors are shown "must be living under a rock" because the Celtics haven't done **** since 2007 with Garnett, Pierce and Ray Allen, yet they are given FAR MORE respect than the Raptors because they have a sexy name like Kyrie Irving. People don't mention that they gave up 3/4 of their grit and producing players like IT, Crowder and Avery Bradley. They have to rely on heavy youth going forward which is the same case as the Raptors, but yet the Raptors get **** on and the Celtics are praised. They had us finishing between 6-8 in the standings with before the season predictions :lol:.
