Official Toronto - Outlet and Store report

20% off everything at Dixie Clearance
Picked up some tech pack clothing and down vests.

Sample shoes were restocking while I was there this am - multiple AF1, am98, am golf, am270 for $32 after discount.

Manager told me a fight actually broke out at opening - over samples... 😂

Anything good at the footlocker?

Just bought off stockx. Self clearing woulda saved $13 and for some reason I was charged $6 duties on an item costing $146 when it should be 0 for items under $150. Definitetly wasn't worth my time to save $13 to self account.
1. Wait till the shipping company has the item cross the border. Once it does, contact them and tell them you want to self-clear the packages. They will email you the necessary documents.

2. Head to your closest CBSA office. I'm in Winnipeg so I havent the slightest clue where to go in Toronto. You might have to go on their site or call their call centre to get the location. Print 2 copies of the documents DHL emailed you, along with photo ID and proof of citizenship/immigration status with you. Pay the fees. CBSA will stamp a clearance document which will then allow DHL to release your item.

3. Before you go to DHL, I highly recommend that you make a copy of the receipt and document CBSA just provided you. Reason being is DHL will call you a month or 2 after and tell you to pay the duties owed. When you tell them you self-clear, they will ask you for proof. So stupid.

4. Go to DHL, give them the piece of paper CBSA gave you.
Thanks for the reply, appreciate the help. I’m not sure if all the running around will be worth the savings as time and gas is money.

Yup. It all depends on how much you're getting charged and how far you have to go. I only had to drive 10-15 minutes and managed to save $86 so it was worth it for me. If I was only saving $20-30, I probably wouldn't have bothered.

My total fee is $69.00 with the brokerage fees/charges being $21.30. The closest place is 35 min away so I’ll just pay and deal with it. But I’ll definitely keep this in mind if I order in the future. Thanks again for the info and help.

I went at opening and it was doa. Resellers took everything of value and then some. They let in 6 ppl in at a time and in 2-3 minutes next group of 6, so the first group got a good head start.

they had air max light for $50 and 20 off so I grabbed a pair and left.

nothing. They had some Jordan 200 psg for retail.

Also saw a Jordan 6 denim size 7 if you're into that. But it was retail as well.

Not sure if this helps anybody but it looks like Stockx now charges duties and HST at purchase.

I went to buy something listed at $120 USD, price changed to $142 + shipping on the next screen (said it included duties) and then when I click on "review purchase" it adds another $21ish for taxes.

TLDR listed for $120USD, total would = $184.13USD

Yeah I heard the news earlier today then tried it myself and saw it. Its good that it's now charged in advance. I think they're still trying to smooth out the system though because I noticed some errors.

IF anyone is interested, the Nike store at Eatons Centre has some of the new Raptors gear.
They got swingman jerseys of the new Red joint in Siakam.

I scooped some practice gear as it was already 25% off lol.
The shorts are cool reminds me of my high school gym shorts and are reversible.
The jordan tshirt? Sure, why not lol
