Official Travis Scott x Jordan Thread ...

With popularity of shoes and these fakes getting better and better.

interesting to see how this effects the overall economy of sneakers.
These “UA” Rep factories and pumping out consistently better and better products. Customers want a one to one replica, they demand perfection.

The only ones loosing here and scummy resellers. Consumers that are dumb enough to pay resell will also suffer since they might be paying for a replica. Nike now has us playing a little casino game hoping to the “Got Em” notification like addicts. Reps are only gonna get more popular now, some interesting years ahead for the sneaker economy.

Every shoe is going to be different and have inconsistencies just like my bc 3s bought 3 size 12s 3 different stores and all were different

My Travis collection. Would love to add the Frag highs, but no way I'm paying anywhere near current resale prices lol.

So you literally pulled all the ds travis' in your collection to take this picture and then tossed em back in the boxes to collect more dust? If your using shoes as investment purposes, you're just better off putting it in crypto

you really hit it on the head mcfly

interesting years ahead for sure.

rep makers realized consumers want and will pay the higher prices for better quality. and the only reason any of it exists is how far the resale game has grown. demand has grown as well, but the bots really have created a problem in the sneaker community, as far as individual collectors.

the fact we see ZERO footsite cops here on release days, says it all. we saw the odds we had on the travis frags based on the bot hit percentage.

nike is worried killing the bot game will kill a lot of the hype as well. the bots in turn make their product more limited and coveted.

we’re screwed.

we really do be seeing like zero footie cops.

snkrs pass Atlanta saves me most releases. How I got my last 3 in store pick ups.

yea I remember when the first Pokémon card boom crashed do you the influx of fake cards.

sneakers have to much value now. So now bigger players are coming into the replica space.

kids so lame now they soon going to say what’s so bad about a replica what’s a brand anyways. If it’s Nike it’s Nike.

Watch

I think lack of bots will keep the game going sneakers is part of culture and some lames it’s their only identity.

Hell we have sneaker nerds. Even if bots died down there still be insta sellouts especially from Nike cause their return policy is the best 😂

Brand new for sure…But the smell just naturally dissipates over time and almost immediately after a couple wears…

How many scumbags out there right now lacing up some UA TS Frags with the intention on selling them as used on eBay or GOAT?

Like Raji Lowenthal Raji Lowenthal said, if your hanging your hat on the smell test then it’s already game over…IF these UA’s or reps or whatever are getting that good, it’s probably a good idea to just skip the aftermarket all together…

so he can take photos and let the internet know about his travis collection
Sure enough my wife just sent this to me

This is why I only sell on StockX now. StockX employees are braindead and will pass any shoes to meet their quota for the week.

Legit checking off pics like that is difficult. Actual trained legit checkers look for various distinct details, which rep factories don’t usually get right since the average Joe doesn’t care about them (like date codes on boxes). These are the pics CheckCheck asks for, for instance:

So if you’re saying fakes are getting so good that the average Joe can’t tell just by glancing at them, then sure. But if you think the majority of fakes are getting through on StockX/GOAT/FlightClub then nah, that’s just false.
