**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

Cool with the result but damn...our attack sucks. Jozy up top by himself all game. Wtf

usa really escaped there, that should have been a pen, but guzan is a monster and would have probably saved it anyway haha, dont wanna see howard in the net until guzan messes up really bad

I do agree that our attack was garbage but we had more possession than i expected.

I really Hope players like Adu and Diskrued step there game up because they will give us the creativity and possession in the midfield we desire.

Oh and Jozy was pissed when he got subbed off.

Sad part is people celebrating this like a win. Mexico isn't even that good. There's a reason they have no wins so far.

:lol - you're kidding right? We got a result leaving Azteca. That's happened like 6 times ever from any side, right?

You draw on the road, you win at home - That's how you go to Brazil. We're "celebrating" because we didn't drop any points on the road and Mexico dropped two or theirs. Next we go to Jamaica then have Panama in Seattle. I'm "celebrating" because we're in pretty good position going into those two matches. Not because we couldn't dominate El Tri in their backyard. C'mon now.

Our attack is poo poo b/c JK played Mo w/ Bradley and they're both the same position. We need that creative mid presence you speak of like Freddy, Mix or Benny!

there is no way any USA fan should be disappointed with tonight's result. you don't have to love it...but that's pretty much an ideal result playing on the road, and in particular, at azteca. let's not get carried away with the, "oh i fully expected to come in and take three points because mexico hasn't been on their A game." again i have to ask, what have people seen to make them think we were going to roll these guys in azteca?

as deep said, we're set up very nicely now. tonight helped to make up for the dud we laid a few weeks back.

I'm not happy with the result, far from it. But I can say I'm content with the draw. I would have lost my **** if we actually picked up 3 points

LOL at us tying Mexico on the road after hearing the media all week talking about "righting the ship" against us. Can't wait to beat them in September.

We played the game the way we were supposed to and got what we needed. Don't give a F what people think.

^Brave souls. A Soccer match in Mexico would be the LAST place I would try to talk ****. Would rather go to a dodger game and talk **** to the ese's.

I know the Mexican side of my family was salty last night :lol

I don't really follow soccer but International games are always a must-watch for me. Viva USA!

Thought I'd share some vids I found interesting from USA Soccer's youtube page. Some of them are a little old dating back to 2011, but I find these player profiles/behind the scenes stuff fascinating.

I like the way Tim Howard lives. If I were a professional athlete I would follow his way of life :smokin
