It looked to me like Ortiz was frustrated, not payed off. Y'all are acting like Mayweather wasn't having his way with Ortiz. Yeah Ortiz had May on the ropes, but he couldn't land a shot. You don't think that and the taunting from May had Ortiz off his game?

Never, not even for a SECOND, did Victor Ortiz even create as much damage as Shane Mosley did with those two POWERFUL shots that Floyd was able to shake off before the round was even over. Some of you guys must watch the fight and base what happened over what you hear Merchant/Lampley say, as well as the crowd reaction to all those big WHIFFING punches Ortiz threw and missed on. Mayweather was up 3 rounds to ZERO going into the 4 and would have been up 40 to 35 after 4. Victor Ortiz QUIT. FACE IT.

And don't even get me started on how Ortiz was headbutting THROUGHOUT the entire fight, yet when he got his hopes all high and realized he was shadow boxing, got frustrated and threw a real CLASSLESS move. Watch the replay. How many times did you expect Floyd to hug this man and tell him it's okay? They dapped, Floyd told him keep it moving, Ortiz came back in, was shrugged off, then put to sleep. Ortiz himself didn't put up much of an argument after the match, did he?

The hate for Mayweather is ridiculous. And the thing with Merchant, Larry Merchant showed just as little class as Mayweather, and does constantly. As an announcer, you're supposed to be as unbiased as possible.
