You can't blame Webber for that. Teams have been doing that all season. Warriors are horrible at rotating on the defensive end.

Right, I'm not blaming the rotations on him, that's not his job. I just don't think he brings enough on offense (yet, at least) to warrant his poordefense. That's more Nellie's and Mully's fault than his. How much burn did he get in the 2nd half? Exactly.

He did a hell of a job defending on KG

Label me salty about the signing of Webber then...but from what I personally saw last night, it wasn't a good look.

Then looking up the box score, he was -10
KG didn't have an incredible game versus us, but I wouldn't say Webber had a stellar game on defense, either. He was -8.

I just believe he hinders us more than helps. Hope he proves me wrong, I can live with being wrong.

gonna agree with you about cwebb on the defensive end. His defense sucks on quicker guys(free layup), but compared to say Al...how bad is it really? With thatsaid, i like what he brings to the table on the other side. I rarely see him mess up a play when he's got the ball(unlike some other warriors).

Mechanical engineering huh. Must be tough, I'm thinking of doing electrical or mechanical as well.
How is the UCSD engineering program?
i think UCSD's engineering is supposed to be pretty high up in the rankings-we specialize in biology and engineering (esp. bioengineering). i knowour electrical is supposed to be real good, better than the mechanical program. of course, it's not as good as Berkeley's. overall it's kinda toughbut if u try hard u won't get lower than a B in grading usually. if you're still in HS, i'd suggest really looking into what u want to do.

and on webber, i think he'll only get better-he's clearly getting more comfortable even tho he's still slow as hell...and

that wright is gonna get minutes-he's definitely proved me wrong a little aswell, even though he's still not strong enough to hang in the post against bigger players, he does all of the other stuff well.

"Whatever momentum we had, (Al Harrington) always seemed to be there to miss a shot or make a turnover or foul or something," Nelson said. "He had one of those games that you don't want to have very often."

ouch, that's gotta hurt....

i'm not a believer that the rockets will be this hot throughout....i think there's gonna be some random team in the top 6 that will start slumping latein the year as well. BUT that's nothing the warriors should worry about-just gotta win as much as possible and see what happens.

Celtics join Brent Barry sweepstakes

Saturday, Feb 23, 2008 6:59 am EST

The Boston Celtics and several other teams are in the Brent Barry sweepstakes the Boston Globe reported.

The Sonics waived the 13-year veteran combo-guard Thursday after acquiring him the same day in a trade from the Spurs. The 6-foot-7-inch, 210-pounder will become an unrestricted free agent Saturday and is expected to get interest from Boston, San Antonio, Phoenix, Denver, Houston, Golden State, and the Lakers.

The Spurs, however, would have to wait 30 days before they are eligible re-sign Barry. Boston is expected to inquire about Barry. A calf injury, however, is expected to keep Brent Barry sidelined for about another 10 days.
