guzman was a beast with the twins, it's not even debatable. he was the spark plug for the twins during all those years they won the al central.

if guz keeps it up, he could match the numbers he put up in '01 with the twins. he was an all star that year, and it's looking like he'll be ourall star rep this yr (unless r.z. picks it up). people wanna talk about reyes, rollins, and ramirez but don't forget about GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZ-MAN!

he's right, guzy was a big spark for the Twins...i watched him all those years in MN. not just his BA, but he was always a threat to get a triple andwhen he did, the team picked it up. his defense in minny was also top notch.

zimmerman requested the day-off today. the slump must be really taking a toll on him. this could end his 205 straight games played streak, unless he's usedas a pinch hitter/defensive replacement.

this series has been a major disappointment. i thought we had a serious shot at sweeping the stros. we were approaching .500 and surging and nowwe're just trying to salvage one game.
and can we please put lo duca on the permanent dl?!!??! i can't stand him. he can't hit and is the worst defensive catcher in baseball. he hurt hishand again, and it's looking like he'll revist the dl.

Lo Duca getting hurt is the best thing that has happened thus far this series lol. He would either ground out or strikeout all the time. Nieves was doinggrrrrreat. We really need the power of Dukes in our lineup...hopefully he'll be an offensive sparkplug. let's get em tomorrow lannan.
