No fights over here🤣. Black and Red 13's are my favorite sneaker of all time. Brought a pair on release date in December 2004. Skipped the 2013's because I was very disappointed and decided to buy another pair for resale that time of 2004's. Also doubled up on the 2017's, easily for retail the Monday after release (I was on vacation when the 2017's released).
 
Having 2 equally essential black red colorways is why I think 13's are my favorite along with the bold features like the cat eye and the mid-late 90's lace loops. I think I've turned from considering play offs and black reds about equal to liking black reds more. I love the red to black ratio and 3m. I need another 2 of these even 2017 quality.

Hated 2017 shape. It honestly made me fall out of love with that shoe.
 
This current mold isn’t perfect still, but I can take a new pair in this current generation. That 2017 release was disrespectful, I passed on them after selling my 2013 pair because those just weren’t the same.

We need better for these smh
 
Yeah the 2017 was horrible from that dull red to the shape to the overall fit. I still can't believe I had to half size up on these and even then they still fit snug.
 
^^ in my opinion every 13 retro has been terrible since 04ish, leading up to the 2023 playoffs which finally are shaped decently close to the originals and also used leather on the toe box. The 2020 flints and pretty much everything prior had unbearable toe boxes basically.

Wish I still have my ‘04 pair

Mines was stolen unfortunately butwould love to get them again correct this time
